137 - Child lycan queen

The room was shrouded in shadows, lit only by the soft glow of flickering candles. Kaldir, the dangerous looking lycan king and imposing figure dressed in regal robes, stood at the centre of the room. His face was a mask of anger and disgust as he gazed down at the lifeless body of Eskaal, Meagia’s former mate, lying on the cold marble floor.

Kaldir spoke while snarling, as he held the child in his hand. “This treacherous wretch dared to defy me within the very walls of my sanctuary? How dare he even come here?” Kaldir's eyes narrowed, and his voice carried the weight of authority.

Kaldir yelled while raising his hand. “Guards! To me!” The heavy chamber doors swung open, and two burly guards, dressed in ornate armour, rushed in, their swords drawn.
