CHAPTER 6

Keiser’s pov

As soon as my Beta informed me about my mate escaping the pack, my veins popped under invading aggression. No one, literally no one had ever dared enough to betray me but his rouge.

If she wasn’t my mate, she would have been dead by now. It was difficult for me to control my exaggerating emotions. Even the guard wolves were throwing signals to each other. I wanted to kill each of them but finding my mate is more important for me.

When I walked through a corridor to look for my mate, I started to sneeze uncontrollably. There was this intolerable itching in my nostrils that I can't get rid off.

“What the hell is this? Find out the source of this pepper.” I ordered the guards when I noticed I got allergies because of the pepper explosion in the pantry.

Everyone in this pack knows that I have serious allergies from pepper. Suddenly, I realised that one one person could be here who doesn’t know this fact about me.

My lips curled up in a sinful smile and I burst inside the pantry while holding my breaths. Her scent was mixed with the pepper but still I can find her hiding in the wooden box which was placed in a corner. I wondered how she managed to get fit in that box?

I went up to the box and stayed until everything fell quiet. As when everything seemed perfect, I lifted the cover and saw her hiding inside of the box. My brows srunched and i frowned at her stupid act. 

“Do i have to command you to get the fuck out of that box?” I scoffed immediately because it was getting difficult for me to stay holding my breath.

She got up under my command but blacked out due to sudden actions. I caught her falling before she could hit the floor and get injured seriously.

I did not like the way she was acting an

d I wanted to punish her for that so I carried her in bridal style and threw her in the tub where the kitchen staff cleans the vegetables.

She was lost in her own thoughts and the reality dawned hard on her. She was all drenched in the water and cursed me under her breath. I heard it clearly and so did my beta and others present on the spot.

I clenched my fist to control the overpassing anger which was ready to out and lashed on her but the scent radiating from her body weakened my ability to to harm her. After all she is my mate.

“Get up and change!” I ordered her while she kept glaring at me.

I turned to Lance, “send her to my office after fixing this mess!”

My Alpha tone was enough to make the hair stand on everyone’s skin. I left in grumpiness and stumbled into my office. Even though I wanted to work but my thoughts wandered to my mate. Why the hell did she try to run away?

There was a soft knock on the door and from the delicious scent getting to my nostrils, I can say that my mate is standing on the other side of the door. I wanted to drag her inside and take my way with her but that won’t sound like me.

All these years, all the she-wolves have chased me to have a piece of me but this is the first time I felt something like this. Maybe because of the mate bond.

Another knocks on the door and I realize I haven’t answered her yet, “come in!”

I pretended to look busy while surveying the files. Frequently, I looked up to see her. She was cleaner and wearing clothes rather than rags. When I looked straight in her eyes, I got my breath stuck in my throat. Her beauty was breathtaking and her long mane was like the black clouds before the heavy rain.

I got up and approached her while she looked down. “Look at me!” I ordered but she kept her head low.

“I don’t like to repeat myself! I am your Alpha and….” I was about to complete my sentence when she said.

“Mate?”

“Is that a question or a statement?” I frowned and asked straightly.

She paused for a moment and replied, “it doesn’t matter.”

“I am Alpha Keiser! The most ruthless and dangerous Alpha in North America. And you, little rouge, how dare you to raise your voice on me?” I hissed.

She glared at me and turned her face, “you are not my Alpha! My Alpha was slaughtered by you and your pack. Even if you become my god, I will never worship you.”

She got my nerves and I pinned her against the wall, forgetting that she was in the medical wing for being too weak.

I knew she was in pain but this girl, she did not even blinked her eyes but burned me with her firing gaze.

“Don’t defy your Alpha!” I whispered.

“If Alpha is my mate then I am your equal. I can stand up to you and I can defy anything I don't like about you.”

She was outspoken and I grabbed her long neck with just one hand. “Kill me, Alpha! I would rather die than to live this miserable life. I had seen enough in my previous pack and I no longer intend to suffer the same in yours. It will be better if you kill me right now.”

This angered me more, “why are you so eager to die? Don’t you want to be my Luna and my mate?” I hissed right in her face.

“I don’t consider you as my mate. I would rather stay mateless than being your mate. I may be a rogue and dirty for you but you are nothing but a sleazeball to me.”

I was shocked by her words and my anger fired at the highest temperature, “al;l the she-wolves want me and you rejected me? In fact, called me a sleazeball?”

She chuckled and replied, “people rush for cheaper things! No wonder why all the dirty women are interested in you because like magnets, dirt attracts dirt. And yes, I will reject you right now! I, Aura Gibson, I reject my ma…….”

I got flabbergasted by her rejection but I will not spare this girl. She insulted me in the worst way and I will make her pay for everything. I let my wolf take the control of who was displeased by our mate’s attitude.

She has no idea whom she just messed with and she will be begging for mercy every single day for this mistake, I will make it sure. My canines extruded and I dug them forcefully on her neck.

She did not complete her rejection when I managed to forcefully mark her. Her neck was bleeding because of the punctures and she screamed at the top of her lungs. 

I marked her without her will and I knew it would haunt her forever. My mark on her neck was burning before getting balck and permanent. This will remind her that she belongs to me!
