"No, no!" Lara screamed as she woke up from her slumber. Her heart was racing and she looked disoriented. It was a dream. "Mummy!" Cage furrowed his brows in confusion. Lara shook her head, trying to push her thoughts to the back of her mind. The more cryptic she became, the more confused she made him. "You do know she will try to leave with them once she finds them right?" Brad's voice was weak. Cage nodded. "I know but I have promised to help her so we will have to search for them. There are secrets she doesn't want us to know and I will get to the bottom of this." Brad didn't look convinced. He wasn't in support of the idea. If only he knew she had a mate. It occurred to him that Desi's father could come in search of Desi one day but he hoped it wouldn't be someone important. How is she able to stay so long without her mate? He wondered. "Arghh!" She exclaimed as she held her stomach in pain. The masked person attacked her again, punching her face but she blocked the attack. When she tried standing, her face received another hit again, and then stumbled. She growled out of anger. As the guy tried to hit her again, she took hold of his fist as he threw it to her face. She used all her energy to crush the fist. "Get the fuck off me," he spat and pushed her, sending her flying. Lara stood up again and attacked him. She tried to pull his mask off his face but to no avail. Her claws cut through his face before he kicks her stomach with his knee.Suddenly, a knock came on the door and he hit her hand away and ran to the window. No! The next morning, Lara stood outside the palace in a beautiful dress. She woke up happy and couldn't stop smiling. She would be going into the city for the first time. It made her all bubbly. Her hands gripped her dress as she stood, waiting for Cassandra. She had been standing for quite some time and was getting impatient. At the side, Cage stood watching her. Her excited face made him smile. Indeed, they had made the right decision in asking her to be in charge of all the preparations. Finally, Cassandra walks up to her looking pissed off. "Good morning, Cassandra," Lara said happily. "Morning, are you ready?" Cassandra asked in a monotone. "Yes, what's wrong? You do not look happy." "Because I'm not," she murmured. "Let's go, there's a carriage outside." She started walking away. Lara followed behind her till they got out of the palace. The carriage was small. Lara stopped walking. Cassandra glanced at her. "Who is it?" Was the first thing Lara asked when she heard the knock on her door. She stood up from the bed, pulling the sheets with her to cover her body. She was still tired of the tour during the day and wanted to sleep some more. No response came, instead the knocking increased. As she got closer to the door, she immediately caught his scent. Shocked and a little bit excited, she opened the door. "Your Majesty," she said in surprise. Brad stood in front of her door. Her heart skipped a beat at his gaze. Her wolf started panting and barking happily. "Lara, why are you not ready for your training?" He asked, staring at sheets gathered around her chest. She drew them closer. "I… I.. you didn't come.."
