Chapter 108

Enveloped in a dazzling light of blessing that twisted and bound us together, we were suddenly transported to a realm where the sky stretched endlessly above and the sea sprawled vast and unending below. It was as if we were standing on water, solidified beneath our feet, and before us stood three magnificent gates, their surfaces painted in the brightest of blues, shimmering under the sunlight.

Each gate bore inscriptions at the top of its grand doors, etched in ancient text that I recognized immediately: "Present, past, future."

Beside me was Aurora, but in this place, the wheelchair that had been my constant companion was conspicuously absent. My legs were beginning to lose their feeling, a numbness creeping up, making me reliant on her for support. "Please take me to that gate—the one marked 'past'," I requested as pointed.
