"Do you know that you've been crying a lot lately?" Alex teased gently as we shared a kiss, seeking comfort in each other's embrace amidst the uncertainty. The nurse and some others looked at us with awe and surprise. Taking in the scene around us, reluctantly, we ended our embrace and stepped back into the room.

Curiosity getting the better of me, I turned to the nurse. “Is it weird that we hugged and kissed in front of people?”

The nurse chuckled, a sound that seemed to dance lightly in the air. “No, it's probably just a difference in culture,” she explained with a smile. “Here, we don’t really engage in hugging and kissing anymore. We interact in different ways. You can check the ‘Earthnet’ later. It has everything you need to know about our culture. To us, such displays are seen as primitive.”
