She turned to Wendy again, “You go. Staying here is fatal.”

“But, what about you?” She asked tentatively, worried for her, “I must fulfill my duties as your Alpha. Now, go.” She commanded.

“Okay…” Wendy retreated and Lucille finally transformed and soon Leonel was in sight.

Lucille glared at him, they stood facing each other reflecting the different aura of resentment and thrill. Whole being electrified to break Lucille.

Leonel’s menacing intentions were clearly seen from his unnatural eyes.

Let’s go! Lucille ordered and ran with her group with Leonel catching up to her, increasing the pace of his heart to finally espy the moment where she wouldn’t be the queen of her ego anymore.

There’s no escape, Lucille. He said.

I know but I won’t back down without trying. She retorted, turned to look at Olivia and split her ways.

Lucille went to the forest while everyone else went in the other direction to join the northern group, leaving Leonel and Lucille alone.

He threatened, continuing his actions, not removing his eyes from her face making her heart skip a beat. “No…” Lucille’s eyes widened to hear this, mind frozen in dread about the condition of her pack, anticipating how these blood thirsty bastards had treated them. “I can and I might will.” His sentence invoked a violent shiver from her. “What do you want?” Lucille asked in a bare whisper. “I already possess what I want… all you need to do is behave according to my commands.” Lucille lowered her head, agonized, ire, hopeless. They both know the attraction is driving them insane in comprehensible lust but they don’t have an option of melting in it. Leonel noticed the distress in her eyes by his touch as he called her, loosening his grip. “Lucille.” She gave him a vexed look as he asked softly. “Everything aside, tell me, As mates, do you hate my touch?” “Who likes being raped?” She whispered, falling on her knees when he let go. “Not as a natural reaction but emotionally…

“Are you sure, Alpha?” Daniel asked hesitantly, holding the leather whip in his hand, looking at Lucille with a worried expression. Leonel was leaning on the wall with his heart pounding in pain but he bore it, wanting to teach her a lesson. “What happened huh? Get scared by a few lashes? Can’t bear your mate’s pain, huh? Pathetic.” Lucille mocked, sensing the suffering of Leonel and making fun of it. “You will never understand the condition of a worried heart.” Leonel responded with a sigh. “The word worry doesn’t fit in your ruthless box.” She ridiculed him. With another sigh, Leonel gave her a cold gaze. “I know. That’s why-” He turned to Daniel. “Make her countdown from ten.” He couldn’t bear more than that. “Alpha-” “Do it.” Daniel looked at his Luna. “I am sorry, Luna.” “I am not your Luna!” Lucille shouted. With a deep breath, Daniel hit her. Leonel knows he couldn’t do it but it wouldn’t be fair so he forced himself. “Where are you running? Come and witness, Cowar

Lucille And in that moment, I found the path I lost. The actions I should have done. My resentment wasn’t restricted to war or bonds, It could be in any form . I just lost my ability to apprehend and when now I do, He can’t outwit me. “Let’s negotiate!” I shouted, halting Daniel’s action at the very end, getting on my knees and lowering my head. If I have to swallow my pride to make you pay, I will. “Hmm?” “What did you say?” He said in his usual deep, tempting tone. Suppressing my smirk I whispered, “Let's negotiate… Please, spare her.” I repeated my words. “Do you think you are in any position to demand anything?” “Do you think I will let you mark me willingly?” I asked, raising my gaze and looking at him. He smirked, raising an eyebrow, “What are your intentions, love?” “My pack’s protection and for it, I will accept countless surrenders.” I responded honestly. “Ah. I see… Good enough for me. Release her.” Leonel ordered, moving back. Daniel let go of Wendy

“Okay then, listen to my terms as well then.” He said, clearing his throat, gaining my attention with a gist of worry. “Yours?” “It would be fair if both of us put conditions on. And not to mention you are the one at disadvantage.” He jeered, pissing me off. “What are they?” I asked. “Not much. First, your girls won’t interact with my members, no matter what.” He said. “Fine by me. It’s the same as mine. You just added interaction as well.” I scoffed, knowing it’s for the best because they might become friends but their leader won’t then it’s of no use. “Whatever. Second, you won’t take part in the matters of my pack.” I gave him a perplexed look, “I am their Luna.” I reasoned. “I don’t trust you.” “Violating my fourth condition.” I said with a smirk. “But my condition that you won’t be a part of it is still valid.” He said deadpanned. “If I can’t be a part of it, I need to be aware of it. No decision will be made without me, even if I won’t take part but I must know.” I sa

“No, Lucille please, life is giving you a second chance, accept it.” “And do you think Leonel, who died for a mate, would be happy to know that this body already belonged to someone else?” I exasperatedly asked about the foreseen events, knitting my breaths to fright. “He will kill me.” I told her the harsh truth. “He wanted his mate to be pure like a delicate flower so he could defile me himself, he wouldn’t let me go.” I said the bitter word which made me hate him. the painful reality which made me want to break our bond. “But what you are doing is too dangerous.” “I have no other way, I have to break this bond, I can’t… I am not ready to give myself a second chance.” I said sadly, biting my cheeks, remembering all these agonizing memories which killed me from inside along with an incomprehensible suffering. “We will consummate our bond.” I said in a low tone. “What!? Then he could read your mind and it would be-” I cut Henna off. “I know the deception of mind quite wel

“Are you sure Lucille? If Alpha Leonel came to know you are planning to destroy his pack, you’ll be his slave forever.” Stacy said, concerned while zipping my navy blue dress, having a long slit showing my thigh, adorned with beads, reading me up for my marking ceremony. Her worry is fair but I cannot go back now. If I let him take over him, he will restrict my breaths and I won’t let it happen. ...The earth and sky could become one but not us... “I’d be fine, all I have to do is control my mind and emotions.” I said, looking at my reflection, void of any emotions while applying lipstick enhancing my features more. “You don’t have to worry about me, I have faced worse situations.” Not looking forward to the upcoming event but thrilled too for finding a new adventure in which my prey would be none other than my mate. “Your habit of playing with fire hasn't ended?” Samantha’s ridiculing voice came from behind, releasing a jeering laugh at my words, knowing how I indulge p

Samantha whispered, leaning close to my face, smirking at my pathetic condition. “Don’t be ridiculous. I don’t give a damn about-” “You want to kill Leonel because you are frightened to fall for him, to lose him. Better kill him before things went too far. I never knew you were such a coward.” She laughed. I grit my teeth, her words are igniting a raging fire in my heart. ...There are things in your heart which if concealed, the better… And she was trying to let them out which horrifies me to see the missing piece. I won't fix my puzzle, I won’t let it happen. “Good Luck for your night.” She said, I scoffed at her words, belittling them and straightened my back. Finally regaining my affectation, I gave her a cold look, “Do you think I’d do this?” “You broke your facade for a second Lucille and I clearly saw how miserable you are.” She sneered. “Do you think I will let it happen?” I asked again in the icy tone. Leonel “You are cursed.” Those three words echoed in my mind, stirring it, leaving me to the point where I don’t even hope to receive love from my mate. I sometimes ask myself this question- Why me? “When it could be someone, more savage and ruthless than me. I mean I never killed children except the kids who died in the fire at Raymeyer but it wasn’t my fault. They made me like this.” I was running away but how could I be a victim of a curse only because I have a thirst for blood in my heart. Why does my life have to suffer from hardships and especially a curse? “Okay, I get it I am cruel but isn’t life more heartless to me that it stole everything from me and Carl?” I asked myself Am I not hurting? “How delusional.” I mocked myself, shaking my head and letting out a sigh, disappointed at my vulnerable thoughts. I stopped thinking like this long ago but today my heart was sad. I continued to look out, watching the sunrise as the mark of my new life with a mate after a ce

Heavy rain poured down, drenching the couple who were walking down with wide grins spread upon their lips, mesmerizing the moment. They walked down the jungle, fingers entwined with the other’s, loving the moment where his hands were in hers, lost in the person beside him. The person he loves dearly whose blood is soon going to stain his heart and soul. But, they smiled, living into the moment. “Where are we going?” Lucille asked. “I wanted to show you something.” Leonel replied, kissing her cheeks as they walked. “We are going to Raymeyer.” She said, recognizing the way. “No, we are there.” She muttered, her smile fading. “You should know Raymeyer was based upon stealing other people's land.” He told her. She hummed, looking around the place which is still the same but now no longer ruled by cruel wolves. “There we are.” They stopped in the middle of nowhere. She smiled, looking around, “There used to be my home.” He told her, tracing his fingers on her palm, curling h

She looked down, “They threatened to kill me if Mama didn’t agree to this.” She mumbled sadly and clinging onto him. “That’s why please, Papa, take us away.” She said, eyes tearing up. His gaze softened, mentally cursing himself for even doubting just a kid who was trying to find redemption. “I will.” He smiled, taking her hand as they walked away. He didn’t think more about it as Wendy gave him a logical explanation for every skeptic and he couldn’t help but to trust her words. When the Mansion came into view, Wendy said. “Its boundary is concealed with silver so on one could trespass.” “I see.” He hummed and they walked closer as Wendy ran to Lucille who was sitting on the stairs of the entrance, humming to herself. Wendy came closer, taking off Ravel’s shirt and throwing it away. “Tsk, stinky.” Speaking nonchalantly. “My work here is done.” She said and went inside to treat her wounds she gave to herself and clean herself. Lucille smiled and nodded as Ravel came, grow

At the western side when the three other packs entered, they found it empty. “Just like they said, Alpha. It’s empty.” The three packs were supposed to come together but Lucille an old acquaintance of hers to arouse suspicion in them that Jared and Rogues are using them and going to kill them after the war. If they don’t believe it, they can come from the Western side and shall find on one there as they were supposed to be dead. She even kidnapped a few members of their pack to make this assumption true. They were coming from the western side. Carl was right beneath them, sensing their movement, Stella was also hidden watching their fear increasing with each passing second. They came and were told their member’s bodies were dismanded here and there. A lethal lull spread in the air as they began to walk forward and found the bodies of their dead members, “It was true, they were plotting us!” “Those bastards!” “We are not going to let them win!” They snarled and ran in the

“First let’s discuss the main force and then come to our tricks and upper hands.” I said, “Okay.” “First, the main force would lead them from head on with the fifty percent of our forces being with Leonel, they would enter from the eastern side.” “But, the easiest way to enter is by the Northern side.” “Exactly. There is Jared’s best force, Leonel is going to take him on. Daniel would be with Leonel but the time when they become visible” “He is going to part and lead a certain part of them to the forest which was going to be set with traps.” I explained to him, “And half of our omegas to take care of the survivors would be there as well.” “Daniel, your team should be swift and after taking them on, you shall go to your original point, the northern side- There will be the weakest.” “What? Weakest?” He interrupted but I put my index finger in the air and continued. “After cleaning the northern post, You will regroup with Leonel. This would serve as a backup and overwhelm the

The next day sunlight penetrated through the window and fell on my face, waking me up from my peaceful slumber. I woke up after living the most explicitly euphoric night of my life where he showered me with the pleasure and affection my soul yearned for. Showing me a mere show of gratification and I was immersed in the exhilaration entirely. Not wanting to get out of that world of smiles. This was the most lull-inducing intercourse I have ever had, no force, no repulsion. Only ecstasy and his endearment for whether I am comfortable with him or not. “Hey..” A deep yet loving voice reached my ears, smiling. I stretched my arms and turned to him. “How are you?” He asked sweetly, removing the hairs on my face behind. I smiled, “Great.” He tittered and leaned down, brushing his nose against mine. I closed my eyes, relaxed into the moment where he was mine. “That’s good, love because today is going to be stressful.” He said as I frowned. “Don’t spoil my mood.” I mumbled,

After he left, I closed my eyes, exhaling deeply, moving back as my back hit his chest, holding my shoulder supportively, rubbing circles with his thumb to soothe me down. Lowering my head in shame, I murmured. “Thank you for sticking to my side.” And went back to the mansion, not wanting to face anyone who is still with me after what happened. “I was always there you never noticed before.” “I know, it’s my fault.” I rush to my room, not wanting to see anyone. I began to pace around the room, rubbing my cold hands together in disquiet until a strong addictive scent reached my nostril. Sensing Leonel’s presence behind me, my lips can’t pursue a single sound, affixing my eyes on the ground. “Oh, there you are.” I remained motionless when his one hand snaked around my waist, pulling me closer while his other hand took a strand of my hair in his hands. “Why are you running away, Lucille?” He asked compassionately. “What do you seek when I am with you?” “I am scared…” I

“Alpha… Alpha Jared is here… with Ravel…” Daniel informed us, My grip on Leonel tightened in tension as he noticed the fright coming to my face. I looked down, not knowing what to do or say. “I see we are coming.” Daniel nodded and moved away, leaving us alone for a moment after sensing the awkwards dispersed in the air because of me, “Are you alright?” He asked softly, cupping my cheeks. “You are not angry.. With me?” I asked, looking down, biting my lips in nervousness. “Don’t you want to hit me? To punish me for what I did?” I asked tensed but he only lifted my chin, boring his tender gaze intmore mine. “I have already announced your punitive. Besides,” He moved closer, whispering in my ears, “I don’t want to waste my time with you.” He smiled and moved back, holding my hands tightly, “We can do this. • Cherished Hatred   Chapter # 61

Lucille Leonel’s everlasting display of affection made me feel so concentrated and depraved to think how wrong I was about him. What have I done? How badly I misjudged him? And now when I want to redeem things, I have already lost what I began to cherish more than I could imagine. Miraculously he let both me and Wendy live and even asked to be like mates should be. I guess he wanted to treasure what so little has been left with me alongside smiling and enthralling memories. We went out to hunt, he needed to satisfy his hunger for blood. After it, I helped him clean up and now he was leaning on a tree as my head was resting on his lap, one hand in mine. “Leonel..” “Hmm?” He hummed without opening his eyes. “No one has ever held my hand protectively.” I told him softly. From time to time I told him about the things he made me feel, about the warmth deprived from me by him. “And now, I am not leaving it.” He smiled, opening his eyes and leaning down to my face, brush
