ISABELLA'S POV

I left the multipurpose hall with my heart racing. My hands adhered to the steering wheel tightly as

I navigated through the hospital grounds, urging my car to move faster.

Within five minutes, I was already pulling into the parking lot of the main complex again.

The moment I turned off the ignition, I was out of the car, not even bothering to glance at the time.

I quickly locked the door and started running toward the hospital entrance.

But halfway there, I realized I had forgotten my phone.

“Damn it.”

I turned on my heel, sprinted back, unlocked the car, grabbed the phone, and locked the door again.

Time seemed to slip through my fingers as I hurried into the building, throwing my legs furtively.

In minutes, I found myself near the door of the judge's ward.

The first thing that caught my eye were the police protocols in place—the tall, muscular bodyguards stationed outside the door.

For a moment, I hesitated, but then I noticed their eyes on me.
