ISABELLA'S POV

I sat in my office, staring blankly at the paperwork in front of me.

A small smile was on my face, and my pen was moving across an open page, but instead of writing anything coherent, I found myself doodling absent-mindedly.

My thoughts kept drifting to one person... Michael.

A small smile touched my face as I set my pen aside, leaning back in my chair.

Exhaling deeply, I reflected on the growing bond between us.

It was hard to believe how quickly things had changed.

Michael had somehow become a constant presence in my life these past few days, always showing up at the hospital to pick me up after my shifts.
