Chapter 63

SEKANI:

I woke up in a cold room and a blanket over my body. It was the comfiest I'd felt since I slept in this room. The room was dark, with light pouring out of the bathroom door that had been left slightly ajar. I could tell there was no one in the room because I didn't hear sounds of movements or the sorts.

Sighing, I threw back my head and yawned the loudest before throwing back the covers and climbing out of the bed before I stepped into the bathroom to wash my face. From how damp the glass walls of the bathroom felt, I could tell that Sean had been in there moments ago.

Pressing into the liquid face wash dispenser, I bent low and slathered it over my face before washing it off, drying it up with a towel, and leaving the bathroom.

I slipped out of my old clothes and put on a clean pair of shorts and a tank top. I wasn't in the mood to wear anything restrictive.

Just as I stepped into the hallway, the smell of something meaty cooking wafted into my nose. I
