Jaiya’s meeting ran later than she expected. By the time she called me, she sounded exhausted though she was willing to go. I told her to get some rest and we can have dinner or even just move it to the next day. I was free for the rest of the day since dad told me to take a time off until I’ve sorted everything out with the baby and all.

I’m enjoying the little break. Though according to Ray, it isn’t a break. It is a day off.

“A break means you travelled and left then house. Went to some excited location and had lots of fun. You just having day offs on day offs.”

There was no way to convince her otherwise so I didn’t even try.

Jaiay didn’t call even when dinner time rolled in. I called the front desk at her apartment complex, in case she was sleeping, I didn’t want to wake her up. They confirmed she was so I just decided to stay and have dinner at home.
