But eve as I tried to deny it, I couldn’t ignore the number of eyes that were watching me right now. I wish I could mind link him and tell him exactly what I’m thinking right now. Because what the hell is he thinking.

Antonio is stiff beside me. Which I didn’t blame him for. We had the attention of the whole room and whoever was in charge of the lighting is rude as fuck for dimming the lights and then turning the stage lights towards our seat. This way, only Atlas and I were in the spotlight.

It was a perfect depiction of it looking like we were the only ones in the room. Only, I hated it right now. I didn’t want it to be like that even a little bit.

“What the fuck is he playing at?” I didn’t know who said that around our small circle. But I didn’t know the answer to that.

Atlas was still watching me, with almost pleading eyes. He wanted me to go up there with him. And it made me think, what was he playing at, seriously?
