They Can’t Win

The man stepped forward, and Elisa’s eyes widened as she rushed to him, grasping his leg.

“Please, save me… please tell them it was a mistake,” Elisa begged, her voice trembling.

The man’s expression was incredulous. “What are you saying? Are you seriously doing this, Elisa?” He asked, his tone laced with disdain.

Freya exchanged a swift glance with Judy, a satisfied smile spreading across her face.

“You invited me to the old Luna’s birthday party and assured me we wouldn’t be caught,” the man said, his words dripping with malice.

Elisa’s face fell as she sat down, defeated. It was then she realized she had been set up.

“Now, What did you have to say? I’ve always known you’re nothing but a whore!” Judy shouted, her voice venomous.

Elisa’s tears flowed as she cowered, while Alpha Blaze struggled to contain his rage, Though he didn’t love Elisa, the thought of another man touching her ignited a fierce possessive within him.

“Take him to the dungeon!” He commanded, and the guards dragged the man out. But before they left, the man smiled slowly at Elisa, fueling the fire of Alpha Blaze’s anger

“And you…” Alpha Blaze glared at Elisa, his eyes blazing. She cowered, backing away as a guard handed him a file. He pulled out the papers, his movement swift and decisive.

“Let’s divorce. Sign this and leave forever,” Alpha Blaze threw the papers at Elisa, his voice cold.

Elisa’s eyes widened in horror as she stared at the divorce papers. Memories of her father’s words flooded her mind: “Don’t come back to the pack, no matter what happens to you.”

“No...no, you can’t go this to me, Blaze!” Elisa cried, desperation showing on her face.

“Just sign it and leave! You’re not even worthy to be the Luna!” Judy shouted, her voice dripping with malice.

“Please, just give me a last chance. Blaze, I did nothing wrong,” Elisa begged, tears streaming down her face. Judy stood up, her movements graceful, and walked closer to Elisa.

“How shameless can you be?” One of the pack members sneered.

“She’s so shameless” Another sneered.

“I can’t believe she’s begging for another chance.”

The pack members began to chant, “Leave here! Leave here!” Freya smiled, revealing in the drama.

The pack members began to chant, "Leave here!

“Luna Elisa, we’re giving you a few hours to pack,” one of the Elders said,” standing up,

Isla, Elisa’s wolf, growled through their mind link.

“Just sign it and let’s leave. Haven’t they done enough? I can’t promise I won’t do something if we spend another minute here.”

Elisa’s gentle nature contrasted with her wolf’s fierce protectiveness. She wondered how she had managed to keep Isla silent for three years.

With a heavy heart, Elisa stood up, picked up the papers, and signed them.

“I will sign this, but I promise Dm, you all will regret doing this to me,” Elisa cried, her voice trembling.

“How dare you threaten us? And who do you think you are?” Judy pushed Elisa, sending her crashing to the ground again.

Elisa stood up, her eyes locked on Blaze, before turning to leave the throne room. Their divorce was finalized, and now she was truly alone.

In her room, Elisa began packing her belongings, grateful she still had the card from her father’s pack. Freya entered, a fake cough escaping her lips as she smiled smugly. Elisa turned, wondering why Freya was so pleased herself.

Finally… I will get what belongs to me,” Freya said, her voice dripping with malice. Elisa ignored her, continuing to pack.

“You don’t ignore me when I’m talking to you!” Freya shouted, raising her hand to slap Elisa. But Isla, Elisa’s wolf, took over, grasping Freya’s hand and making her slap herself instead. “Ahhh” Freya screamed in pain.

“I can see you were just faking those words. You’ve always been in love with him from the start,” Elisa Laughed, her eyes flashing with anger.

Freya smirked. “So what? He was mine from the start. You just came from nowhere and took him all in the name of mate.”

Elisa closed her bag, her movement swift. “What do you think? This will be my room from today,” Freya laughed. but Elisa just turned to leave.

“You think you can just walk out on me? You’ve got some nerve, huh?” Freya shouted, cutting herself with her bracelet. “Ahhh, help me!” She screamed, and before Elisa could react, the guards burst in.

“Don’t let her go! She hurt me, she wanted to kill me!” Freya lied, and the guards pinned Elisa down.

Alpha Blaze, Kayla, and Judy entered, their eyes widening at the sight of Freya’s fake injury. “What happened here?” Alpha Blaze asked, his voice firm.

Freya spun a web of deceit. “I only came to talk to her, and she started calling me names. Then I tried to leave, and she slapped me.” Elisa’s eyes flashed with anger, feeling Isla’s fury boil over.

“That was a lie! You’ve got what you wanted; what else do you want from me?” Elisa shouted, but Kayla slapped her, silencing her.

“You’re nothing but a pathetic orphan, how dare you shout at the future Luna?” Kayla sneered, and Elisa’s eyes widened in defiance.

“Future… Luna,” Elisa laughed, continuing to sef her luggage out. “I accepted you guys win… but this will not end. I will make you all regret everything you did to me.”

Judy made to slap her again, But Alpha Blaze signaled him to stop, his eyes narrowing at Elisa’s bold threat.

Elisa walked out, dragging her two bags behind her. The maids watched, their eyes filled with disdain, as she struggled to manage the heavy luggage. None of them offered to help, their gazes fixed on her with disgust.

Finally, Elisa reached the entrance of the pack palace, where the guards waited. They opened the door, and she stepped out onto the main road, feeling a mix of emotions: relief, anger, and uncertainty.

“What do I need to do owe you?” Elisa asked herself, looking around at the unfamiliar surroundings. She took a deep breath, steeling herself for the journey ahead.

Isla, her wolf, responded through their mind link,

“We need to get far away from here, find a new place to start over. We can’t let them win.”

Elisa nodded, determination rising within her.

“You’re right. Let’s go.”
