Shameless Luna

As the light Flickered on, Elisa came into view, kneeling on the floor, tears streaming down her face. Alpha Blaze watched her with an unreadable expression. Judy, the Alpha’s sister, sneered.

“Stop crying like a fool! We all saw you with that man in your bed, and he was practically on top of you!”

Elisa crumpled to the floor as Judy pushed her. “I swear, I don’t know how he got to my room!” Elisa sobbed, desperation showing on her face.

Alpha Blaze’s smirk deepened, his eyes glinting with a mix of amusement and disdain.

Elisa feels isolated and unloved in the palace, especially by her husband’s family.

“You think we’re fools like you?” Kayla, Blaze’s mother, shouted, her voice echoing through the room. “Or do you think I haven’t seen you sneaking around with that same man for days?”

Elisa’s cries grew louder, her body shaking uncontrollably. “ I didn’t do it, please believe me, Blaze!” she begged, but her words fell on deaf ears.

Just as it seemed like the situation couldn’t get worse, Freya, the Alpha’s best friend, spoke up.

“I think we need to be understanding,” she said, her voice dripping with sweetness. “It’s not possible for Luna Elisa to cheat.” Elisa’s eyes lit up with hope, thinking Freya was on her side.

“Do you think everyone will be like you?” Kayla sneered, her voice venomous. “ This shameless orphan can’t be like you, Freya.” Freya’s grin grew wider, her eyes glinting with triumph. She knew the Blaze family loved her and wanted her as their Luna, but Elisa stood in her way. With Elisa gone, Freya would finally claim her rightful place.

Alpha Blaze summoned the guards, and they rushed in, surrounding Elisa. “Take her to the dungeon until I’m ready to talk,” Blaze commanded, his voice cold and detached. Elisa’s widened in horror as the guards dragged her away.

“No. You can’t do this to me, Blaze! You can’t lock me up!” She shouted, but her cries were met with laughter and mockery.

As Elisa looked up at their faces, memories flooded her mind. She recalled her father’s warning about the family before she married into their pack.

Flashbacks*

Elisa walked through the hallway, her maids trailing behind her. She entered her father’s chamber, finding him fresh from his gym session.

“Father,” she called and Alpha August turned to face her.

“You left the party without me?” he asked, his Brie furrowed. Elisa smiled, “I met a new friend, and he offered to drop me at the palace.” Alpha August’s eyes narrowed, “I saw you with the new Alpha of Ravenwood pack. Tell me, is there something going on between you two?” Elisa blushed.

“Father… I wanted to surprise you, but I think you’re suspicious.” Alpha August’s expression turned stern, “so what is it?” Elisa took a deep breath.

“We’re in love, and I found out he’s my mate.” Her father’s face darkened.

“He told me he can tell the mate bond, so he said we should get married faster than ever,” Elisa explained, but her father’s reaction shocked her.

“I won’t let that happen!” Alpha August thundered, his anger palpable.

“Father!” Elisa exclaimed, her voice laced with frustration. Alpha August’s expression turned stern as he moved closer to her.

“I won’t let my only daughter, the future Alpha of my pack, marry into that family,” he said, his voice firm.

“But father, I didn’t even tell him about my status and who my father is, and he still wants to marry me. That proves he loves me for who I am,” Elisa countered, her eyes pleading.

“You’ve known him for just a day Elisa. How can you be so sure he loves you?” Alpha August asked, his tone skeptical.

“But he does, Father. And I’m going to marry him,” Elisa said, her jaw set in determination.

“Not while I’m alive,” Alpha August insisted, his voice rising.

“Fine, Father. I’ll marry him and see how he treats me. If it’s what you say, I’ll come back and take my rightful place as Alpha,” Elisa said, her voice calm but resolute.

“I still won’t accept it,” Alpha August declined, his expression unyielding.

“That’s exactly what I’m doing, Father. Can’t you just let me go for my happiness?” Elisa cried, tears welling up in her eyes.

Alpha August’s glare intensified. “ Don’t come back here if you marry him. I don’t want to see you again,” he shouted, before storming into his room.

Elisa rolled her eyes and walked away, her heart heavy with sorrow.

End of flashback*

Elisa’s tears fell uncontrollably as the guards dragged her to the dungeon, the sound of the lock echoing in her mind. If only she had listened to her father.

“Now you’re regretting, hug? Your stubbornness caused this, and these people who wouldn’t dare speak to me are now acting like gods,” Isla, Elisa’s wolf, thundered in her mind.

“I’m sorry, okay? Please don’t scold me too,” Elisa cried, but her wolf scoffed and went silent.

Next Morning*

Elisa woke up to the feeling of cold water being poured on her. “Look at this shameless whore; you even have to get to sleep,” Judy laughed, and the guards opened the door.

“Take her out,” She commanded, and Elisa was helpless.

The guards dragged Elisa to the throne room, where she saw the Elders and pack members seated. She knew this only happened during meetings or festival preparations. The murmurs of the pack members cut deep.

“What a shameless Luna

“I can’t believe she could do that

“How shameless can she be?

Elisa’s tears flowed as Kayla slapped her angrily. “You claimed the man was a stranger, right? You said you didn’t know it was him!”

“I swear I don’t know him! I’ve never met him in my whole life!” Elisa cried, and the guards pushed her to kneel.

Freya sat beside Alpha Blaze, a satisfied smile on her face.

“Bring him in,” Blaze commanded, and the guard bowed before exiting. After a few minutes, the man walked in, And Elisa’s eyes widened in shock.
