“Know what?” I asked. My heart kept thrudding greatly against my chest.

What she said made me so disturbed that I began to overthink things.

“Don't do this now. You know what I am talking about. I thought you would tell him about the child,” she said.

Hearing this again made it seem as if the world stopped spinning for some time.

“Why are you so engrossed in my affairs? Why do you care if I tell him that or not?” I asked her and she just laughed.

“Because I want to be. You are keeping him in the dark,” she answered.
