Chapter 4
Lily felt her blood freeze as soon as she heard the door open. Whoever it was would notice that she wasn't in the room and they might go after her even before she gets down the building. Lily was scared but didn't let it get to her as she continued her actions by climbing down hastily. She had done this before when her father threatened to punish her. Lily once climbed down their three storey building tall pack house, and it was easy for her to do it in minutes. Right now, she was trying to apply the same technique to this complicated five story tall mansion. She kept convincing herself that it wasn't hard for her to do it. By the time she cheered herself on, Lily had already passed three storeys, any she was at the fourth one. As she wanted to step her foot on the window of one of the rooms, Lily missed a foot. She instantly grabbed the pane of another window and forced herself to hang on to it. Lily wanted to scream out in fear, but she dared not attempt it or else she'll get caught. Lily waited and calmed down before she continued her movements again, and at that moment, the next thing she heard was the loud sound of a gunshot. This time, she became really frightened, and Lily let go of the window she was hanging on to. She fell right down from the building, Lily screamed out loud as she did. She had her eyes closed tight, and she muttered her last prayers. Lily assumed that she would either die or secure a huge injury from the fall, but then, she realized that she had stopped falling, but she didn't feel any of that. Instead, she felt a warm body on hers and a huge arms holding her body tight. Lily breathed deeply as her heart raced. She opened her eyes slowly and she saw him looking sternly at her. Fear gripped her when she saw his familiar cold face. His hair was still covering a part of his face, and his eyes gleamed to her view. Lily wanted to speak, but the trauma of her fall consumed her, and she passed out in his arms. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ By the time Lily would wake up, she realized that she had slept for a long time because morning had arrived. She sat upright on the bed, and she turned, gazing at the window at the other end of the bed. Lily didn't have to be told about how long she slept before she could realize it. She tried to recall how she got herself into this mess while she was on the verge of escaping last night. The flashy memories of him saving her from falling, his cold red eyes that shouted at her, Lily couldn't help but assume that she would be punished by him for her actions. Lily managed to stand up from the bed after sitting for a few minutes. She wanted to head out, but her instincts told her that it was a bad idea. Yet, she went on outside. Lily left the room, and she roamed through the hallway of the mansion. She didn't know where she was going but she just sauntered through the mansion until she arrived at a place which looked like the living room. Lily descended the stairs walking slowly. She tried not to alert anyone as she did. "Running away again, Lily?" Alpha Nikolai's cold voice spoke from afar but loud enough for Lily to hear. She halted her steps immediately, and she turned at the angle where his voice came from. Lily saw Nikolai sitting in the company of some other werewolves in the dining room, and as it seemed, they were about to have breakfast. "Come here!" Nikolai ordered. Lily didn't hesitate and she went there ,she didn't want to provoke him as she knew that she had already done that by trying to escape last night. Lily moved towards the direction of the dinning, as she reached the table, Nikolai grabbed her wrist and forced her to sit on the chair near him. The she-wolf sitting beside him had to stand up for Lily to sit. The she-wolf didn't take the issue lightly. She turned and gave Lily a stern Stare before she finally agreed to sit on another chair. Lily was curious to know why he bought her and why she was allowed to sit on his dining table with him and his family. Nikolai, on the other hand, noticed her curiosities but didn't pay any attention to it. He placed a dish in front of her, and he began to serve her meal. Lily watched him do it. She was uncomfortable because she hadn't agreed to eat breakfast with them, and he had already begun to dish out her meal. She rolled her eyes around the table, and many delicious looking meals were placed on it. Meals she had never gotten the opportunity to taste in her life. She swallowed on her dried throat as she fed her eyes on the sight. "Did you sleep well?" She heard Nikolai ask. Lily didn't know when she nodded subconsciously to his words. "Niko, when did you bring this guest? I have never seen her before, " the she-wolf who had to exchange her seat for Lily asked. Lily was uncomfortable by her questions. She was brought to an auction, which was a shameful thing for her. If Nikolai is to tell them about it, then she would be a laughing stock to them, especially the she-wolf whose aura was uninviting and rude. Lily adjusted on her seat. "Is this enough for you?" He asked, and she nodded. "Thank you." Lily appreciated his kind gesture towards her. The other werewolf just stared at Lily silently. Even though he was also curious to know about her identity, he didn't ask. As soon as Lily picked up her spoon to eat, the she-wolf spoke again. "Is she one of your pets?" She asked. "Steph, watch your words!'' Nikolai warned her sternly. After that, he didn't pay attention to her anymore but to Lily, who was silently devouring her meal. She didn't hide the fact that she was hungry. Lily ate as though she hadn't been fed for days. "Slow down," Nikolai warned her, Lily didn't heed to his warning, and she choked on her meal and coughed out heavily. Nikolai tried to give her water, and so did Stephanie, and when it got to her, Lily drank and spat out the water that Stephanie had given to her. It was hot tea, she burnt her tongue. When Nikolai noticed what Stephanie did, he grew angry and confronted her. "Why the hell did you do that to her, Steph?" He questioned her. Stephanie tried to act innocent. "What do you mean? I didn't do anything. Instead, I was trying to help her, " she claimed. "Lily, are you alright?" Nikolai asked, and she nodded briefly. Lily instantly stood up and ran off from the dining room. Nikolai wanted to run after her, but Stephanie held his wrist and stopped him. "Niko, you don't have to overreact over a small scald. She would heal in time, even though she's just a slave omega, " Stephanie explained. A visible smirk appeared on her face as she said that. Nikolai pulled his wrist from her grip, and his eyes grew colder as he began to speak. "That slave omega is going to be my Luna, Steph. And you have respect for her!" He declared and left. Stephanie jerked up. Her thoughts were instantly ruined by the words he had just uttered. What did he mean by she was going to be his Luna? By any chance, she didn't think that the Omega was his mate. The indistinct noise of men whistling, mixed in the sounds of music, filtered the air as Lily Torreltini was led through a dark passageway towards a huge hall. From a distance, Lily understood the scene that awaited her, her whole body trembling as she was being pulled roughly by two werewolf guards who looked fierce and gruesome. "Move it!" One of them declared, but Lily could barely catch up with them as they walked faster, and her legs were coated in huge iron chains. Her hands weren't left out as they were also handcuffed in similar chains. When they finally arrived at the hall, Lily was pushed down by the guards, and they locked the huge gate behind the stage, and they left. Lily felt her heart palpitate in her chest as she raised her gaze, looking around the place. The dark club room was suddenly filled with bright lights, and a fluorescent white light was thrown down directly at Lily. She instantly turned her face away from the crowd, feeling shameful for what was about to h
Chapter 2After being dragged through the hallways again, Lily was blindfolded and pushed into a room that was inside the clubhouse. She couldn't untie herself because her hands were chained, but Lily still had her senses and could perceive the presence of someone inside the room with her. Lily turned immediately, "who's there?" She asked. A powerful aura that filled the room, making Lily know that the person inside with her was no ordinary person.Lily tried to speak to her, and she was unable to summon her."Aya!" She groaned, calling out her wolf, but no response came from her. Aya only responds to Lily once in a while, and that makes Lily frustrated."Who are you?" Lily asked this time fiercely. Her instincts couldn't have failed her.
