Lillian's POV

I got lost in his eyes again but I won't let myself be drawn to the burning fire of my desire.

"Stop Marcus," I firmly uttered looking at him blankly.

He fell silent. He stared at my face and while looking at him I could tell that he was in pain.

"Why is it so easy for you to push me away?" he painfully asked.

I am in pain too every time I push you away.

God knows how much I want to be with you again but we can no longer force it.
