Chapter 67: Trouble.

Lucy's POV:

I hurriedly called Desmond and he answered and I explained to him what happened.

"Are you saying that Vera came into Joseph's room and has threatened to call the police to kick you out?" Desmond asked me in surprise.

"Yes sir, I stopped her from grabbing onto Joseph ,she got angry and told me to get out and told me she had fired me." I told him and I heard him sigh audibly.

"Lock the door in case she comes back. I am coming home." He informed me and the call ended.

I locked the door as Desmond instructed and stayed in the room with the kids.

Joseph and Danny kept asking me if I was going to leave the house and I kept reassuring them that we won't be leaving.

I don't think they were convinced by what I said, they were still worried.
