Chapter 68: Vera is insane.

Lucy's POV:

Everything ended on a good note because Desmond was around.

I didn't see Vera come out of her room again,so I guess she was just waiting for him to go out so she could rain havoc on the house.

Desmond stayed with us in the kids room and didn't go back to work that day.

"Are you offended because of what Vera said?" Desmond asked me after a long moment of silence because I don't want to speak to him.

"No ,I know you are the one that has the final say in the house so her words don't bother me." I replied.

I only said that so that he would not worry ,but Vera's words were constantly replaying in my mind.

Even though Desmond was graceful enough to let Danny stay in Joseph's room,this is still Joseph's room.
