Chapter Five

CHAPTER FIVE

MEETING again after knowing each other's name is making Tymoteusz nervous as he waits for her in their meeting place.

They decided to meet in a famous coffee shop near their university.

He looked at his watch to check the time, it's almost three in the afternoon, their destined time of meeting. The door's bell rang making him turned his head towards it and there, he saw her entering.

She's wearing a green mesh sheer polo shirt under her black spaghetti crop top that's tucked into a green high waist plaid skirt along with her joker wedge black shoes.

Her hair was done in a messy bun, and she doesn't seem to have a makeup on.

“Hi, Mr. Primordial. Sorry, I'm late.” she greeted him.

“You're not, Ms. Sotelo. Please have a seat.” he said as he motioned her to a seat across him.

Hussain placed her bag in the seat before sitting. She smiled at him and politely offered her hand for a handshake.

“My full name is Hussain Amor Sotelo, nice meeting you, Mr. Primordial.” she said while smiling sweetly at him.

Tymoteusz looked at her and smiled. “Nice meeting you personally too, Ms. Sotelo. My name's Tymoteusz Baek Primordial.” he introduced himself as he shook her hand.

Hindi alam ni Tymoteusz kung paano niya sisimulan magpaliwanag kay Hussain na halatang naghihintay lang din na magsalita siya.

He cleared his throat. “Uhm, I already have a script you can do. Gusto ko lang muna makita strengths and weaknesses mo as an actress para malaman ko kung paano natin masisimulan yung collab script. Okay lang ba?”

Hussain looked at him and smiled.

“Yes, it's fine with me. Ngayon na ba tayo mag-pratice? Or readings pa lang?”

“Readings muna tayo rito sa shop and we can go to my studio to do the act,” he said as he lean on the chair. “Or pwede ring readings lang muna today tapos tomorrow sa studio tayo. Ibibigay ko na lang yung script sayo para makabisado mo.” he suggested.

Hussain clasped her hands together. “Readings na lang muna today para may time pa kong makabisado yung script with the emotions.”

“Alright, let's meet here again tomorrow. Same time, is that alright?”

“Yes, it's fine,” she murmured and sipped on the coffee. “Where is your studio located by the way?” she asked politely.

“Malapit lang dito 'yon, Ms. Sotelo. Thirty minutes away.”

Hussain chuckled at his formality. “Just call me Hussain, Tymoteusz, right?” she said smiling.

He nodded. “Yes, but Tymoteusz is mouthful, so you can call me Tymo instead.” he answered.

The surrounding atmosphere started becoming comfortable after dropping the formalities. They also started talking about the script Tymo made that Hussain instantly liked after hearing what's it about.

And when their meeting ended about the script, they decided to go to the mall that's beside the coffee shop they are in. They roam around the mall to pass time as they get to know each other.

He may want to deny it, but this day is indeed one of the best day of his life. But he's afraid, happiness always comes with a prize. He can only hope it will be worth it, and deep inside he knew. Because Hussain Amor Sotelo is worth it.

ALL she felt today was a pure rollercoaster ride. When she met Tymo at the coffee shop, all she felt was the coldness of his aura. But when she noticed that he's trying to reach out to her, she immediately did the same. She hates awkward moments, so she also talked to him, and she doesn't regret it.

Tymo is fun to talk to especially when he's talking about the things he likes doing and what he is passionate about.

To be honest, she is shocked when she realized that he is the guy she bumped into a week ago. Good thing he didn't bring the topic up, it was embarrassing.

Now, they're on their way to her house. Tymo offered her a ride home and who is she to decline especially that it's almost late. Yes, hindi nila namalayan ang oras sa sobrang enjoy nilang nag uusap tungkol sa kung ano-anong bagay.

“Sunduin na lang kaya kita bukas?” biglang tanong ni Tymo sakanya.

She turned her gaze at him. Patingin-tingin ito sakanya habang nagmamaneho.

“Okay lang ba 'yon sayo? Nakakahiya kung sakali, Tymo. Malayo pa ata ang bahay mo samin kesa sa coffee shop.” aniya habang umiiling.

“No, it's fine. Malapit din naman, Hussain. Mas nakakahiya kung ako ang susunduin mo diba?” natatawang anito.

She chuckled and shook her head.

“Fine, whatever you wanted pero text or call me agad kapag malapit ka na, okay?”

“Alright, madam.” he replied and saluted at her.

“Oh, doon na lang sa tapat ng gate namin.” sabi niya at tinuro ang gate nila.

Tymo nodded and pulled over in front of their house. Nauna itong bumaba ng kotse at pinagbuksan siya ng pinto.

She smiled at his gesture. Napaka-gentleman nito simula pa kanina.

“Thank you, Tymo. I enjoyed today, and thank you for not being awkward.” sabi niya habang nakangiti.

Tymo smiled back at her. “Thank you too, Hussain. I also enjoyed. So, see you tomorrow?”

She nodded happily.

“Yes, I'll see you tomorrow for our rehearsal.”

Nilagay nito ang mga kamay sa bulsa at tumingin sakanya. He looked handsome, alright.

“Alright, I'll see you then. Good night, Sain.” he said and waved his hands.

“Good night, Tymo. Ingat sa pag-uwi.” she replied as Tymo went back in his car.

Tymo rolled his window down and winked at her before leaving. Hussain on the other hand was shocked, her jaw dropped, and she stood there like a stone.

Kung hindi pa lumapit ang kuya Logan niya hindi pa siya papasok ng bahay nila.

“Why are you so shocked, princess? May nangyari ba?” usisa ng kuya niya.

She shook her head. “Wala naman, kuya. May naisip lang ako.” she laughed nervously.

“You're definitely lying, but I'll let it pass for now.” anito at pinitik ang noo niya.

Agad niyang sinimangutan ang kuya niya at umakyat na sa kwarto niya. She sighed before changing her clothes.

Her phone chimed, receiving a message. Agad niya itong kinuha at tinignan kung sino ang nag text.

To her shock it is Tymo.

Tymo:

I'm home, pahinga ka na. Good night and sleep well, Hussain.

Muntik na siyang mapasigaw sa text nito kaya agad niyang kinagat ang labi at pinipigilan ang ngiti na kumawala.

She then, replied to his text.

Hussain:

Ikaw din, Tymo. Have a good night and good dreams.
