"Rain can bring this to the higher court, and if she did, we'll present the contract she signed with you as evidence that she agreed to leave the child as soon as he doesn't need her anymore." Damien's lawyer explained.

He came right after I took a quick shower and Damien called me here to talk about baby Damon's case.

Attorney glanced at me before he looked at Damien again. "I want the two of you to be prepared because the higher court may take her side. She's a mother and there is a law that protects her right. As a father, you can only borrow your son's time and you're obliged to an alimony. The kid can only have a chance to choose once he reached an age written on the law."

I slowly nodded and heaved a sigh. I glanced at Damien. He was staring at his table while massaging his nose bridge.

"But if Rain's medical tests proved that she's not mentally healthy, we have a high chance of winning."
