Lucky's POV

I woke up in the middle of the night because of Darya's cries. It was so hard for me to get off the bed and walk towards her crib.

I rubbed my eyes and slowly lifted her up, carrying her in my arms.

I yawned and sat on the bed. I lifted my shirt to breastfeed baby Darya.

My forehead creased when I noticed a suit and travel bag on the chair. The bathroom door swung open and Damien stepped out with a towel wrapped around his waist.

His eyes immediately landed on me.

"You're here…" I said, almost a whisper.

He nodded and walked towards me. He kissed my cheek before he kissed Darya's forehead and stood in front of me.

"I just came. Did I wake you up?"

I shook my head. "Baby Darya is hungry. She woke me up."

He nodded and grabbed his bag. He opened it to get his clothes.
