Chapter 66 The Bait

Lucky's POV

I was sitting on the wheelchair while staring at my baby inside the NICU. Thanks to Camilla's connection, she managed to hide the fact that I'm here. That I already gave birth to my premature baby. It was risky. I was so scared. She had breathing problems and she needed oxygen.

Seeing her like that breaks my heart. If only I was strong enough to carry her until her due.

Tears rolled down my cheeks as I stared at her face. She's so beautiful. She actually looks like her dad. Her nose and lips resemble Damien's.

I felt warm arms hugging me from behind. I smiled as I smelled her scent. "Mom…"

"She will be fine. You were just like her, darling. I was so scared when I gave birth to a premature baby but you fought. You didn't leave me."
