Chapter 91: Judging dancers

There were several seats lined against one wall and we all took our seats, Adrian on the far right with me next to him, Luzo next to me and Xael and Furgo stood by us waiting. Everybody seemed nervous and were glancing at Adrian. I guess the presence of their King was not to be taken lightly.

Every single woman was still eyeing Adrian up and down, making me feel like insects were crawling over my skin.

The door opened and someone walked in with a massive trolley. With on top of it a big, black cage. The perfect size for someone to dance in. "These are the cages that we ordered. What do you think, Elle?" Furgo asked, his eyes still nervously looking over at Adrian.

I scanned the cage. "Good size. But let's spray paint them gold." I loudly stated. "That is a fantastic idea!" Luzo excitedly said next to me. She held a notebook in her hand, the same as the previous servant had in her hands the last time. I smiled at her and nodded a thank you. Adrian on my right was a dominating presen
