Chapter 97: Micah's news

I nodded and slowly slid off his lap. His arms opened to let me go, and there was nothing but desire in his gaze. "Don't be long." I said. He smiled at me. "I promise." He said, and then turned to the table. "Out." He snapped, looking at the servant girls. They all got up without a second thought, and walked to the door with smug looks. "You as well, Niran. Out." Adrian ordered loudly. Niran slowly climbed off Micah's lap, gathered her dress from the floor and walked out without breaking her gaze from me.

With a sigh, I followed her to the door.

"I will guide her to her room," I heard Micah say, "Safety reasons." Opening the door, I looked over my shoulder to Adrian, who had his gaze on me. I smiled shyly at him, and the corners of his mouth turned slightly up, before masking it. Micah held the door open for me, and signalled for me to get out. "Milady." He said with a mocking bow as I walked past him. I rolled my eyes at him, to which he smirked. "I saw that." He joked, before pat
