79. Cried Bitterly

Luna Lawson:

I stared at Amos just as Mikel left us, and I had lots of questions to ask him too. Amos looked more handsome and more masculine than the last time I had seen him, which was the day and night before Aaron took me away.

"What's going on, Luna?" Amos asked me as I moved away from him and stared at him while I walked back to the bed in the underground room and placed my baby daughter on the bed.

"The babies? Who owns them?" Amos asked me as he continued to peer at me in surprise.

I gulped and sighed heavily as I turned back to face him, while my baby daughter started crying out. I knew she never liked it when I was against her father, and now hearing another man's voice that wasn't Mikel, I knew Alana was ready to roast Amos to ashes for daring to come closer to her mom.

"They're my babies," I said to Amos, not daring to look up at his handsome face.
