83. Zuri's Threat

Luna Lawson:

Janet smiled at me and said, "I came to check up on you, my queen, and to give you your medicine."

"But I'm fine now," I replied, still able to hear the lady's voice screaming downstairs. Janet continued to smile and said, "I know. But you still have to finish your treatment plan because of the twins."

"Hmm, okay," I knew I had no other choice, so I accepted and took the herb bottle from Janet. I drank as she instructed and she asked, "How are Alana and Aiden doing?"

"They're fine," I replied with a forced smile. Janet spoke, "Okay, I will be leaving now. Take care."

"And you too," I said as Janet left. Since Molly wasn't with me, I couldn't just leave my room and leave my twins to find out what was going on downstairs. Most of the women in Dragunite kingdom were dragons, as the few humans they had captured weren't brave. I knew whoever was screaming downstairs would surely be a dragon too.

I walked back to my babies, waiting for Molly to arrive.
