KATE POV

After my brother left I lay down back on the bed doing nothing when my maid entered inside without knocking, that I didn't mind

What's the problem, Vera? I asked

Kate. .you won't want to hear this… she told me, she was the only friend I had so it was usual for her to refer to me by my name anytime we are Alone

Spit it out… I told her

One of the guards told me that your next birthday will be held grandly. Different kinds of visitors from different cities will come. She said

I looked at her Because it was surprising that after my mom's death, my father has never said anything about my birthday, while he wanted to celebrate it all of a sudden.

Do my Grandma and brother know about it? I asked her

According to what the guard told me, He said your father held the meeting with them and instructed them never to tell you.. she said

I can't believe this, and they didn't tell me, why this birthday was all of a sudden, am I the blood of this family? I yelled and stood up but Vera held me

Don't tell me you're going to confront your Father. She said

That's exactly what I am going to do. I said in anger

Please, Kate, your Grandma, and brother kept it away from you only because. of your safety. If they go against his words that are putting you in great danger, please don't go there. I wouldn't want you to get hit by your father. She said and I calmed down but the tears in my eyes slowly fell down my cheeks, she sat beside me and comforted me

I will do everything possible for you to get your freedom, just one day.. she said and I cried the more.

JASON POV

We entered the human world, and we had human form but we didn't live among them, that I didn't know why but the reason was best known to my dad, but I know that some werewolves live among humans, I only knew some because of the school I attend with them and they were my friends, Evan and Aiden I knew they were werewolf the day I caught them killing one guy that kept bullying people in the school we became best of friends but they didn't know I was a wolf too, I attended the school only just to give my dad information about the human world

I went to the particular place where the item was sold and it was already getting late, we sold the stuff and collected the money, we were trying to find where to rest our heads when I saw Evan and Aiden coming to my side, I wanted to hide but I was already exposed because they called my name

Hey Jaden.. didn't expect that we would see you here by this time. Aiden said

I came here to run an errand for my dad. What about you two? I asked them

Aiden came to show off his beauty and am an escort. Evan said and I laughed

I will get to see you guys in school next tomorrow, I have to go now. I said moving away from them not wanting to answer more questions from them

My dad doesn't have to know about this. I said to the guards and they nodded

AIDEN POV

Jaden seems weird haven't you noticed it? I asked Evan

No, he isn't weird, you won't blame him he has no friends except us. Evan said

That's the reason he should. collide with us, but he doesn't, and it feels to me that he is always left out Anytime he is with us. I said still wanting Evan to see reason with me

You don't have to worry about him.. we are going to be there for him anytime he needs us. Evan said

I will have to get to the root of all this. I am going to find out what Jason is hiding from us because actually, he looks. weird... I said to myself particularly

Evan, I will see you tomorrow, I don't want to keep my dad waiting for me. I said to him and walked away

KATE POV

It was late already and I sneakingly walked out of my room, my dad was always in his throne hall by this time so I went to his room, I didn't know what I was looking for but I just want to find out something even though it's a little thing to clear of my mind an why he hated me

I entered his room and went to his Table where he always read, I kept going through what was there when I saw my mother's picture and there was something written at the back of it I wanted to read it when the door opened revealing my dad and Immediately dropped the picture

What are you doing here Kate? He asked me

Father I..I...I stammered cause I didn't know what to say

Speak up Kate.. he said in his deep voice

I sent her here. I heard Grandma's voice from behind

Why would you send her to my room? My dad asked

I wanted her to call you for me, but I didn't know you weren't here... She said Kate let's go… She added

Okay, Grandma. I said and slowly walked away from my Father to where my Grandma was

Wait. My father said and I stopped on my track. Your birthday next three months would be in a grand way and don't try to do anything stupid am I understood? He asked half yelling

Yes, father… I answered and ran to my room crying I could hear my grandma call my name from behind but I didn't want to hear anyone now, I was in pain and I want to feel the pain alone, I entered my room and locked it behind me Falling and crying
