Louisa's POV

On that day, Wolf won the game.

When the game was over, all the players were treated like heroes, surrounded by media and crazy fans.

I wanted to talk to Lucas, but I couldn't go through the crowd.

So I had to stand on the side, looking at him walking into the media conference room to get interviewed.

During the whole process, he didn't even look at me once.

Feeling a bit disappointed, I tried to walk away, but Lucian stopped me.

"Where are you going, Miss Falco?" he asked.

"Home," I replied.

Then, it occurred to me that I didn't have a home to return to.

"Don't you want to stay for the afterparty?" He raised an eyebrow and asked. "Luke would be happy to dance with you tonight."

I bit my lips.

Lucian continued, "Of course, if you have other engagements tonight, I fully understand..."

I took out the envelope of money and handed it to him.

"Please give this to Lucas," I said.

"I would keep it if I were you," Lucian said. He didn't take the money. "He always gives girl
