Narrator’s POV—
Linda had just purchased the book and was walking to her car when she received a call from Emily. She rolled her eyes and muttered, “Definitely she too needs something!”
“Hello?” Linda spoke and started, “Do you really need books when I..”
Linda couldn’t complete because from the other side came Emily’s loud crying voice!

Linda frowned! What has happened that Emily was crying?? Did Adrian do something to break her heart??
