Narrator’s POV—
“Daisy! Have you prepared anything for them to eat? Diana is my childhood friend and her grandson is coming here for the first time!” Mrs Murdock said as she sat in a rocking chair in her room! She is very old and also alone! Her only son stays far from Odessa! He has urged Mrs Murdock to stay with him but Mrs Murdock couldn’t leave the old house!
“Don’t worry Mistress! I have made cookies, muffins and also other snacks, if they wish to have!” Daisy said.
“Alright. Good then. Now go and prepare some tea! It is already time for them to arrive!” Mrs Murdock said and as if like a blessing the doorbell rang and a wide smile appeared on her face. “It must be them Daisy! Go, go and open the door!”
