"Nagulat ba kita?" Malamig na tanong ni Ruella habang nakatitig ito sa kanya.

"And you still want me to believe that what you are about to do has nothing to do with me?" Oliver retorted. "I already explained everything to you, haven't I? And things already changed, Rue..." Once again sinusubukn niya magpaliwanag ngunit tinawanan lamang siya nito.

"Things changed indeed." She bellowed in a hollow voice. "You're now after me. Was it because you found out that I am a bigger catch compared to her?"

"You," he went utterly speechless.

Though he wanted to defend himself, he couldn't as he was the one who implanted these bitter words in her mind. He stick to his ambition and discarded her love way back and now she's giving him the dose of his own medicine.

"So tell me, kailan kayo ikakasal para naman makapaghanda ako ng malaking regalo? I promise to be generous."

"Rue, do you really hate me this much?" He whispered askance "Why do you have to keep the child from me?"

She shook her head, c
