One week later…

Alexia’s POV

It’s been a week, and one thing I can say with full confidence is that I hate being married to Ethan. The funny part is Ethan isn’t even the real problem. The problem I have is his family. They find new ways to make me uncomfortable.

Mr. Blackwood has barely said ten words to me which is at least better than his wife who never misses an opportunity to insult me. I think the highlight of it for me was the day I tried to do something nice and cook for the family. This woman spat in my food. I remember what she said like it happened just yesterday.
