With a beaming smile, I take his hand as we walk through the airport terminal. He follows behind happily as we almost pass him. Well, how could I possibly hide my excitement? Because it was time to go to Rome.

"Relax, we have hours on the plane before we get there," he said in an amused tone.

"I can't relax!" I said with sparkling eyes. "I can't wait to see where you are staying, to see the city!"

His smile slowly brightened as I continued to ramble on about everything I wanted to see and do during my few days there.

"You should sleep on the plane to save energy," Cole commented.

"If you can make me," I said, and a laugh escaped his lips.

"Really, you should rest. It's going to be a long flight," he says.

"What about you?"

"If I get tired, I will send you a piece of my memory. But I will try to stay awake."

I stopped my walking and pouted. "You need to sleep too."
