Chapter 7_ Non disclosure agreement

ALEX POV:

Why getting ready to go to Lockwood Inc, the dream I had last night was still playing in my head.

I don't know that means but I sure am not going to back down from this journey because of a dream.

I put on the black dress that I first wore yesterday and did my hair up in a ponytail, and wore the black stilleto heels.

After doing all this, I carried the red purse and walk out of my room.

"Where the hell are you going? And how did you get all those things you're wearing, did you stole them?" My brother asked me.

"Of course not, I'm going somewhere important that will benefit me." I told him and park a bunch of the potato chips in front of him before walking away.

"Alexandria Davis get back here with my chips!" He yelled.

I ignore him and walk far away from the house.

"Follow me miss Davis." The blonde girl that took my jacket yesterday said and i nodded and followed her.

She opened a more larger door and ushered me in.

"Mr Lockwood is in there." She told me.

I am going see him finally, just two steps and I will be in front of him.

Calm down Alex, you can do this!

I comported myself and started walking slowly inside, I walk inside the office and look up, sitting behind a huge desk is no other than Killian Lockwood.

The man I want to marry.

And standing beside him is Mr Adonis, i guess the third man must be his lawyer.

I glanced around the office and took in a sharp breath.

The furnitures must be hella expensive.

Just the vibe coming out of the environment is one in a million.

"Miss Davis, please come in and have a seat." Mr Adonis said.

My eyes met that of Mr Lockwood and i quickly look away.

I felt drawn in to his eyes.

I started walking inside the large room and sat down on a chair facing Lockwood.

I tried not to look into his eyes and concentrate more on my hand.

The lawyer placed two files infront of me then cleared his throat.

"Here are the documents you should sign miss Davis, an NDA which means everything concerning this marriage will be a secret." He said and gave me a pen.

“ what do you mean by everything concerning this marriage will be a secret, does it mean that I can't tell anybody that I'm married?” I asked facing the lawyer.

“Of course you can tell anyone that you are married to Mr Lockwood, but what I meant by this NDA is that no one will know the reason or the deal behind this marriage. I'm sure Mr Adonis here already fill you in that it will only last for a year and don't worry you will have anything you want, you will be paid 30000 dollars every month.” he explained.

I look at Killian through my lashes but he seems not too interested in what was going on, I sighed and picked up the file.

 NON DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT.

THE PERSON SHOULD SIGN THIS DOCUMENT IN AGREEMENT THAT EVERYTHING DISCUSSED HERE TODAY WILL BE ONLY BETWEEN THE PEOPLE PRESENT.

AFTER SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT AND THE PERSON BROKE THE AGREEMENT, MR LOCKWOOD WILL SUE FOR DAMAGES.

After reading the non-disclosure agreements, I waited for a moment to decide if I really want to do this,  after thinking for some minutes I took the pen and signed the paper then hand it over back to the attorney.

He pushed the file in front of Killian and drop the pen on top of it.

Killian took the pen and stared at it for some minutes before dropping it back on the desk·

“Why do you want to marry me” he questioned, since i got inside the office the first word he said was to question me.

“Because there is money in it and I need money and also need freedom which I will gain with this deal.” I responded back to him, I didn't think he was satisfied with my reply because he still didn't sign the papers.

“I must warn you miss Davis, being my wife comes with a lot of responsibilities and if you think you can't shoulder them all you are very much free to go before I put my name beside yours on this paper.” he said and I urged him to sign the papers.

 I was ready for every challenges that may come in the future.

After signing the contract the attorney left including Mr Adonis leaving me alone with Killian.

Both of us sitting there without saying a word is probably one of the most awkward moments in my life.

He suddenly stood up from the chair and walk around the desk, he stood in front of me and placed his hands on both side of my chair handles.

“Everything will be rushed miss Davis, firstly the wedding will be in two days time or better still four days time, it will be a private ceremony that consist of about 10 people. and by the way you're practically now my fiance, you need a ring to be able to convince the media that we are really engaged.” he said and deep his hand inside his pocket then brought out a small box.

He opened the box and inside this box is a ring that consists about 10000 karat diamond that must have cost him a fortune.

“Oh my goodness, Mr Lockwood this is too expensive I can't take this.” I said when i saw the ring.

He laughed for the first time in front of me, hus perfect set of teeth coming out in display.

“If you really know the man that you're getting married to miss, I bet you wouldn't think of this ring as anything.” he replied.

What is it with this rich people taking everything for granted, he just said that a ring Worth about 10000 karat diamond is nothing to him.

He touched my hand and I felt Chill round down my spine from that little contact, make me look up at him again to see if he actually felt that too but he was not giving anything away as if he felt it.

He slipped the ring inside my finger and stepped a little bit.

“This is beautiful, so much beautiful than anything I've ever seen, thank you so much Mr Lockwood.” i appreciated him.

“Let's drop the formality Alex, we will be getting married soon and we have to learn how to call each other by our last name.”he said and i nodded.

“Thank you for the ring and also for the clothes and shoes and hair that  was given me yesterday through your, I'm so grateful.” i said thankfully.

“Yes, write your number down on the  paper in front of you and the wedding planner will get back to you and also get your bags ready, after the wedding you are moving in with me immediately without no delay.” He said and went back to his seat.

Moving in with Killian Lockwood!

Just how much has my life change this past few days?
