Chapter 9_ Is she pretty?

ALEX POV:

"I….this was given to me by my fiance." I said without thinking.

He dropped my hand and laughed so hard before looking back at me.

"Your fiance you said, who would want to marry an ugly girl like you? Chile he must have thought that youre pretty because of that mask." He mocked me. That really hurts my ego but no.

"If only you know whom my man is, you won't be talking like this." I said and turned around to leave but he blocked my path.

"Who is he, I want to meet him." He said and i rolled my eyes.

"Do you really think tbat you can walk on the same path with him?" I asked and chuckled softly. "Killian Lockwood will have you feed to the dogs."

His facial expression changed and he stepped back a bit.

"Whom are you trying to scare by mentioning Killian Lockwood? He won't even look at you." He said, he is right.

On a normal day with my real face I know that Killian will never look at me twice.

Just as I was about to reply him, my phone rang.

It was a new contact.

I swipe the receive button and placed the phone against my ear.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hi Miss Davis, mr Lockwood gave me your number, I'm your wedding planner." The woman on the other end said.

"Oh hi, so are we going to meet or what?" I asked her.

"Yes, just give me your address and I'll be there by tomorrow to take your measurement for your wedding dress." She responded.

"I'll text the address to you, and also please I don't want any expensive gown, anyway until you come by." I said and hanged up.

"My wedding planner will be here tomorrow, stand there and be doubting me. This is a 10,000 karats diamond ring, who else can afford it if not Killian Lockwood?" I asked then walk away.

I'm getting more bold infront of my father today, I guess it is because I'm engaged to Killian.

That must be the reason why I felt exceptionally brave today.

"Killian Lockwood?" I heard him continously chant in his head.

Yes Killian Lockwood and soon to be Alex Lockwood.

I got to my room and opened my message box then text the address to the number that called me.

After doing that I placed my phone on the bed and opened my drawer, I brought out my diary which I haven't write anything inside for so long.

         ⟦Dear diary.

Im engaged and going to get married soon, even though it is a fake marriage with no love i hope to be happy, and encounter all the good things of the world.

After the marriage end in a year i will indergo a surgery and be as pretty as Rihanna.⟧

I wrote this while laughing hard at my silliness.

Really Alex, you must be a dreamer to compare yourself with Rihanna.

I mean, come on she's so pretty that even the back of her toes are prettier than my face.

I lay down on the bed when I receive a notification on my phone.

I picked it up and unlock it.

**Hope the wedding planner already contacted you, choose what makes you comfortable**

Could this be Killian or his secretary?

I decided to text back so that i can know whom I'm texting with.

**She called me few minutes ago and we talk, she will be coming to my house tomorrow**

I hit the send button and dropped the phone beside my head.

Occasionally checking if he'll reply back but no, I didn't get a reply so I lost hope and slept off.

BACK IN LOCKWOOD HOUSE.

Killian was inside his home office working on some projects that was left over at its company.

Suddenly he received an email from his secretary stating that everything is being done as he ordered.

He sighed then stood up from his chair and walk around towards the windows, the thought of what was going on clouded his mind.

 He was going to marry a woman whom he knows nothing about and doesn't even care for, he is going to marry someone that doesn't care for him.

Not like  he is also looking for love.

He went back to the desk and pick up his phone and dialled Raymond's number, Raymond is his best friend since high school, they have been together ever since then.

When Raymond's step sister keep obsessing after Killian,Raymond helped him tame her sister even though it was just for a while.

“Hey man what's up?" Raymond asked Killian immediately he picked up the phone.

“So I have already found a girl that is willing to marry me for a year, the contract was signed today and the wedding will be held in two days time. I hope that this time my mother will stop pestering me to get get married.” Killian said and Raymond couldn't help but laugh at his innocent friend.

“Man I'm happy for you, so who's this girl is she pretty and have you tell your mum about her, you know she will be suspicious if you suddenly marry a girl without even courting her.” Raymond said.

Killian suddenly remembered that he actually haven't tell his mother about this.

“ f*** you know what this never crossed my mind and I'm so f****** f***** up right now, what do I do everything have been set.” Killian lamented.

“Come on, you are Killian Lockwood, don't tell me you don't know what to do meanwhile you control the biggest Empire in the world.”Raymond mocked him.

“Okay whatever, I will know what to do, see you tomorrow.”Killian said then hanged up the phone.

He went back to sit down on his desk and send his Secretary and email.

**Tell her to forget about the wedding planner for now and get get ready, my driver will pick her up by 11:00am, we will be going somewhere together**

After sending the email and made sure it goes through he retired back to his room.
