"You're not mad at me anymore, are you?" Julian asked, tilting his head.

Quick as lightning, Mia waved and shook her head. "Of course not," the girl denied awkwardly. "Why should I be angry? It's just lunch together. Moreover, Mister Herbert is coming with you,” she continued before forcing a smile.

A second later, the man stroked his lover's hair. "Thank you, Mia. You are indeed the kindest and most understanding woman.”

Receiving such praise, the girl's guilt deepened. Not wanting the burden to increase, she immediately tapped his watch. "We've been stalling for too much time, Sir. Let's get to work!”

"Wait a minute, Mia," Julian said, holding the girl's arm. "There's one more thing I need to ask."

"Can't you wait for a break?" Mia asked with raised eyebrows.

Folding his lips, the CEO shook his head. “Dad will definitely come early and use up all the break time.”

After a brief deliberation, the secretary finally sighed. "Okay
