The Party

She walked majestically into the party venue, She smiled seeing how people present look at her direction, from the looks on their faces, they  were astonished by her beauty. She smiled, nothing new and special. She is Ashley Brown, the wealthy CEO, everything about her is classy and expensive.

This club looks quite expensive, looks like all she heard about it is true, it's really one of the best club in town. Only people of class are in attendance that should be expected. What is She even thinking, the almighty Natasha that do all for party is doing her birthday. It must be one of its kind.

"Hey Ashley" She heard someone call her drifting her out of her reverie. Turning towards the direction where the voice came from, her eyes met Josh's, he smiled walking to her, does he have to be this clingy well that's Josh for you. He's cute, presentable but not up to her class, He follows her almost everywhere.

"Hey" He grinned staring at her.

"Hi, how did you manage to get here?" She asked.

"Why are you asking that?" He muttered itching the back of his head.

"Well because I know the celebrant couldn't have invited you." She replied harshly.

"Well, since I got no invite, I decided to invite myself. Good right." He smiled pleased with himself.

"Don't tell me you didn't follow protocols coming in here." She mumbled glaring at him.

"Yeah, the good thing is I wasn't caught" He smiled.

"Why do you feel comfortable telling me this?, Don't you think I might have you exposed and humiliated. The celebrant is my friend." She smirked.

"I know you won't do that, you are nice." He chuckled.

"You think you know me, don't you!" She cackled.

"Not to brag but yes." He laughed.

"You look beautiful as always." He mumbled checking her out.

"Thanks, I need to see the celebrant!" She faked a smile leaving quickly before he could say a word.

The Josh that She knew will go on and on to praise her and admire her if She did not excuse herself like that.

'I need a drink', she muttered to herself walking to the bar to grab a drink, before She knew it, She stepped on her dress stumbling forward, almost loosing her balance but a strong arm held her by the waist saving her from falling, the person is indeed a saviour.

"Thank you" She mumbled raising her head to see who had saved her. Her eyes met a pair of golden eyes, the way they sparkled made her heart skip a beat, the guy in front of her is charming, he had a beautiful face, muscular and He looked very classy.

All her life, She have always prayed for two things, to be rich and happy. I am rich, the biggest CEO in the country who doesn't know Ashley Brown but She haven't found happiness and She is only going to find that when she have a child of her own, She will give her all She deserves and her make feel loved, the love She never got from her parents. She grew up to be someone who believe She couldn't be helped or cared for by someone else, because those around her never cared about Ashley Brown, they only care about who She is, but seeing how a total stranger saved her, maybe her desires will finally be fulfilled.

"Are you okay my lady?" The man asked in a calm voice.

She moved away from him.

"I'm fine, thank you once again for saving me." She muttered.

"It's fine, be more careful next time ok." He smiled, his smile was infectious that Ashley found herself smilling.

"I have something to do, see you around." He mumbled before walking away.

"Ashley, where have you been?" A voice asked, She turned around.

"Natasha." She smiled pulling her into a hug.

"I was on my way to meet you before I had an encounter with a guy, never mind. How are you celebrant?? She teased.

"I'm fine, you look gorgeous, who am I kidding with, after all you are Ashley Brown." She chuckled hugging her

"There you go again Natasha, you look stunning." She smiled.

Natasha is one of her business partner, they have had a lot of deals and she's really a great person, really crazy and a savage. When you hear of Natasha Virgo you know she isn't someone to mess with. Her eyes roamed about, She spotted the guy who had saved her earlier, If not for him, She will be in the news tomorrow that Ashley Brown messed her dress in a party which She wouldn't like as She maintain a low key not to be noticenotice by people.  He was  with two ladies, they were all over him filled with smiles. She had no idea he was a flirt.

"You are starring at Brayden Brastivala, well everyone is but I'm surprised you are too." She teased.

"Who is he?" She asked.

"You don't know him for real? He's the hottest billionaire in town, girls are all over him to come to the party, all thanks to my wonderful boyfriend Authur, he's friends with him so that's how it became possible" She grinned.

"Well you are lucky to have a darling boyfriend, not everyone is." She smiled.

"We both know it's by choice that you are single, guys are always coming to you but you turn them down everything."

"They don't love me, we all know what they are after." She laughed.

"And when did you start believing in love."

"They should have any motive on coming than what they are after."

"Let's forget about all this for now, let's enjoy the party." Natasha babbled holding her hands.

"I agree" She smiled.

All that ran through her mind was Brayden, She looked at his direction he was laughing, they locked eyes, he winked at her. That moment everything else in the room went blank all She could see was Brayden Brastivala.
