"Char, are you free after work?" Sebestian asked me staring at me through the mirror while I was getting ready for the work.

"Yes, why?" I asked tilting my head to look at my husband whose eyes were fixed on me.

"I just want to take you out for a date. These days, we hardly get time to spend together." He said and I couldn't agree more with him.

"We can take the kids out with us, they'll love our family outing." I suggested a better idea.

"Yes, you're right but I want us to spend some time alone. We can take the kids to the park on Sunday. Please, try to understand. I need some 'us' time." He insisted and I could see desperation in those eyes.

He was going through a lot. It wasn't hidden from me. His own parents were his biggest enemies.

"Okay, you can pick me from office at six thirty. I'll wrap up my work by hook or crook by five." I nodded in agreement and a warm smile stretched on his face.
