[ Charlotte ]

The only sound which could be heard in the deadly silence of the dining room of my house was disturbed by the clattering of spoons on the plates.

"Charlotte, just speak now. You silently blackmailed me at the coffee house and now you're saying anything. I am not here to dine with you and this food is awful." Mrs. Blackwood dropped her spoon on the plate.

I stopped eating and dropped my spoon as well. I wiped my lips and sipped my wine. I thoroughly enjoyed her annoyed expression.

"I think you're right about the food, Mrs

Blackwood. Don't worry, I'll leave a very bad review. This food tastes like can food." I said.

"Charlotte, we're not here to discuss the food. Please, save our time and tell me why you brought me here?" She looked deadly into my eyes.

"I went to Cuba." I poured her another drink.

"Cuba?"

She narrowed her eyes but I noticed the sudden nervousness behind the confidence.

"Yes, to meet the Harerra family. Congratulations, Mrs. Blackwood. You're a grandmother
