Butterfly and the CEO
Chapter 50
Ellies’s point of view.
Erin stands in the doorway looking at me with a frown on her face as I reply.
“Yeah, I am now. It must have been something that I ate. The smell of the coffee has really turned my stomach.”
Erin looks at me as she says.
“It is funny that the smell of the same coffee that you have every single day makes you feel sick today, don't you think Ellie?”
I frown as I reply.
“What do you me
Butterfly and the CEO Chapter 51 Ellie's point of view. I'm still sitting on the toilet, wrapped in Erin's arms. She pulls away from me to look at the pregnancy tests again, tears in her eyes as she whispers. “I can't believe that I’m going to be an Auntie.” I giggle as I reply. “I can't believe that I’m going to be a Mummy.” Erin smiles before she says. “You're going to be the best mummy ever Ellie, Oh God, I’m so excited.”
Butterfly and the CEOChapter 52Ellie’s point of viewOh my god, I'm getting married today!I spent last night at Erin and Connors place with the rest of the bridal party, a night of stories and giggles, a night that my beautiful best friend spent topping up my glass with non-alcoholic champagne.I'm lying in bed when Erin comes flying through the door.“Wake up, lazy, we have a wedding to get ready for.”She says as she pulls the duvet off me. I grin as I reply.
Butterfly and The CeoChapter 53Ellie's point of view.I smile as I look up at my new husband, and I say.“I love you too, Zac.”The wedding celebrant shouts over the crowd.“If the wedding party would like to make their way over to the reception area.”I pull sac back as we watch the other walk over to the tables and chairs on the beach, and I say.“I have something for you, Zac.”
Butterfly and the CeoEllie’s point of viewChapter oneI sigh as I look around the cheap and most definitely not cheerful hotel room, muttering to myself as I swing my legs to the cold threadbare floor.“Come on, Ellie, time to get this lazy ass moving.”I laugh out loud as I realise I’m talking to myself. I can't help but smile. I may be in this cheap shitty hotel room, but it's my first glimpse of freedom in a very long time and boy, does it feel good.
Butterfly and the CeoChapter twoEllie’s point of viewIt's Monday morning, and I'm starting my day with a latte in the cafe before I head into work for very my first day at Harris Corps designs. Connor smiles when he sees me walk into the cafe. He looks at me as he says.“Good morning Ellie, what can I get you?”“I'll have a latte, please, Connor.”
Butterfly and the CEOChapter threeEllie’s point of viewThe rest of the week runs smoothly, and before I know it, it's Friday morning James and I have made good progress on our design for the new generation project, and I've got to admit that I'm pretty pleased with the plans. James has been really great to work with; his understanding of the building's structural work is impressive, and I can't wait to reveal our designs to the rest of the team at this morning's planning meeting.I make my way down to the meeting room and take my seat at the table; everyone is already there except for Rachel. It's now ten minutes past ten, and Mr Harris does not look happy as he checks his watch once again.
Butterfly and the CEOChapter fourEllie’s point of viewIt's, Saturday morning and I wake up to someone knocking on the door; I groan as I pull the quilt cover over my head, it's far too early for this shit. It's probably a drunken guest trying to get into the wrong room. A few seconds later and the banging starts again, accompanied by some rather loud shouting.“Ellie, get your ass up and out of that bed.”Erin shouts through the door. Mumbling, I climb out of bed.“Gees girl, I'm coming; wait a minute.”
Butterfly and the CEOEllie's point of viewChapter 5So It's my first night out, in a very long time alongside my crazy new friend, and I'm actually having fun…..Erin drags me into yet another nightclub, ordering us shots before she pulls me onto the crowded dance floor.I'm swaying to the beat of the music and feeling free; my hands in the air as we're moving to the music, that's when I can sense him feeling that now-familiar tingle down my body; I know he's here, looking up, I can see he's looking at me as the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, he's looking right at me his intense blue eyes sending an electric current through my body, I

Butterfly and the CEOChapter 49Ellie’s point of viewThe next few weeks pass in a blur of dress alterations, Flower picking, Invitations menus and so much more, who knew that organising a wedding was so stressful. I'm sat at the dining room table trying to work out the seating plansI place my head in my hands as I say.“Arhhhh , why did I say we would get married as soon as possible.”Zac chuckles as he says.“Because you cannot wait to become my wife and I cannot wait to become your husband.&rd
Butterfly and the CEO Chapter 48 Ellies’s Point of View. I look around the packed room, I still can't believe the amount of people that have turned up to support the Butterfly trust. With a shaky breath, I lean into the microphone as I say, “Thank you all for being here tonight, I never expected to see so many people supporting the butterfly trust and I’m forever grateful to every one of you.” I carry on explaining how and why the Butterfly Trust started and my own personal experience starting from the beginning when I first met Sam before finding the courage to f
Butterfly and the CEOEllie’s point of viewChapter 47The butterfly trust is almost finished, and we have a grand opening to organise. Zac has really pushed with the publicity side, and we have so many sponsors lining up to back the charity it's unbelievable. Everything is really coming together now, and I'm so proud of all of the work that everyone has put in.All of the design team have worked with me, yes that includes Rachel, and each one has put their own personal style into it; it looks incredible.I've organised a meeting this morning with Audrey, as I have something that I want to ask her.
Butterfly and the CEOChapter 46Ellie’s point of view.We both laugh as we watch Erin disappear back out of the office.“So, do you have any ideas for our wedding Zac?” I ask.Zac chuckles as he replies.“As long as I am marrying you, baby. I’ll be the happiest man alive. I’ll leave the rest up to you; I want you to have the perfect wedding day.”I smile as I say.“I’d love to get married on the beach, where you pr
Butterfly and the CEOChapter 45Ellie’s point of view.I clear my throat, turning to look at Zac as I carry on Talking.“Thank you all for coming here today. I’m sure that most of you know my story, but for those who don't let me start at the beginning.”Zac gives me a reassuring smile as I carry on.“I spent three years in a violent relationship, Yeah You know how it goes. Things were good to start with, and I fell in love with who I thought was the perfect man, or at least I thought I fell in love. I know that's not true now, as now I know what love really is.
