Chapter 6

As soon as Avery entered her room, a message popped up on her phone. She took the phone and found a message from Riana.

It was Riana's picture with Abel.

Abel was sleeping peacefully on the bed and Riana was lying beside him.

"Guess what Nicole, Abel, and I just had a good time. As you can see, Abel was sleeping peacefully because of the exhaustion. So sorry you never shared such wonderful memories with him."

Avery clenched her phone after reading the message. She was determined not to let Riana's words get to her.

"Go ahead and eat my leftovers. You can have him, I don't want him anymore" Avery clicked the send button and tossed the phone away.

When Riana received the message, she was aggravated. This was not what she wanted from Avery.

Three years ago, she had taunted Avery with messages like this and she would call her back to vent her anger. It was the same reason that made Avery accept her proposal.
