It was already mid-afternoon when Abel finally woke up. The thought of what happened last night came back to his memory.

It was obvious that the wine he shared with Avery was drugged. How could Avery do such a despicable thing? Why would she drug his wine, just to get his attention? She knew very well that he loved that particular brand.

Abel tried to get up but felt a terrible headache. He called the reception and requested a painkiller. Within a few seconds, the drugs were delivered to his room. He drank the medicine and went into the bathroom.
