I watched as Dylan zoomed out of the parking lot. Leah was the next and Luke was seated on the other side of her and he waved at me as she drove out too. She did not even spare me a glance.

"You sure she's your best friend?" Dylan asked as he extracted his helmet from his motorcycle. "Or did you force yourself on her?"

"We've been friends since kindergarten, Damon. Stop asking me these questions. It's already getting me upset."

He leaned on his motorcycle with one part of his body and stared at me. "I'm not saying this to get you upset or make up feel embarrassed. She's being shitty to you and that's not right. Why don't she come clean? Tell you why she's mad instead of acting all childish?"

"We both know why she's been acting that way towards me. She's interested in you and she thinks—" I stopped myself before I could speak further. "I think I should go home."
