CHAPTER 76

DAMON.

One thing I loved was the scent of her skin. Vanilla and coconuts. I had scented it the first day we met and had plastered it in my memory.

"You smell so nice, Lena," I whispered against her neck as my lips grazed her skin. I couldn't get enough of her. I wanted more. I needed more. How could she drive me crazy by merely staring at me?

Her fingers dug into the skin of my back as she threw her head back with her eyes closed. Her body was supposed to be on display in a private museum. The one which wasn't room so I could wake up every morning to remind myself what a fucking lucky man I was to have her as mine.

But I was scared. She was pulling me in and I was falling into her pit. This wasn't the reason I had come to Willow Town. I was starting to lose concentration and somehow, I didn't care. I didn't want to care.
