The truth was that I had turned Xander down once upon a time. He had been so mad and had threatened me not to tell anyone that I did.

Not that I was scared of him or what he was capable of doing, I just didn't have it in me to tell anyone that he had asked me out. Not even Leah. He didn't hold an important place in my life so he wasn't even a topic for discussion.

But Damon is.

I rolled my eyes as I shut my locker. "Oh, please. You know why I am so keen on him."

Let's believe that it is just that.

As promised, Damon had dropped by at the bleachers where I sat to finish up an assignment I hadn't done. Mr Finn didn't remember the detention. A lot had been happening in school lately so I expected him not to see it as anything.

Sitting at the bleachers was like a suicide move, owing to the face that Igor had died here. But I wasn't afraid. Infact, I wanted whoever was doing the killings to come after me now that I was alone. But it was just Damon.
