LENA.

I forced a smile that didn't get to my eyes and waved at him. I could still redeem myself. It didn't matter if Leah was in the wrong. "Hi, Xander."

His smile faltered and my heart skipped. "And what are you doing here?"

I took the last step and stood in front of him. His eyes moved to my cleavage and lingered there before he looked into my eyes. I wasn't going to get mad about the way he looked at me even if it made me feel damn uncomfortable.

"I came to your party." I replied. "I know things have been shitty between us and I hurt you but trust me, I didn't mean any of that,"

He scoffed. This wasn't going to be as easy as I thought. "So trying to talk people out of attending my party was what then?"
