The path that led to Amigo was a quiet one. Few cars, few houses, few people- making Amigo more peaceful. Ever since Elena was little, she'd always loved walking on the path to relieve stress. When she was younger, it was whenever she was displeased. Whenever she didn't like the meal cooked or had fought with a kid.

She walked a little further, accompanied as usual by the ever fresh breeze, endless scattered leaves, and the tiny pebbles begging to be kicked around.

She found herself in a nearby park. The screams and squeals of happy people messing with her headphones. She and June had been there once. They both got their faces painted over and over again and ended up looking like a character from the walking dead.

Elena smiled at the memory as it quickly vanished as she almost jumped. She pulled off my headphones turning to see who tapped her.

She turned to see Daniel looking as handsome as ever.

She did all the random talking while she just chipped in.Elena missed her."Did I tell you about me and Daniel?""Ayyyy," she screamed, pulling her closer. "Spill girl."Elena smiled. She told her how she saw him and ended up talking for hours."You're cute," she cooed. "You're in your final year, I've got one more year. Seriously?""It doesn't matter."She rolled her eyes. "Are you...""School was okay," he cut her off. "Tons of homework.""Mhmm. Same.""And?" Elena groaned internally on hearing the bell ring. Students poured out of classes, probably heading to their next classes. She remained in her seat, picking her books one after the other, almost reading what's on each book before putting it into her backpack. It was a Friday. She had maths for three periods straight- no breaks. She groaned at the thought of it, again. Probably when she was little, she had done something to her maths textbook or her maths teacher to make maths hate her that much. Anyways, the feeling was mutual. Daniel had undeniably helped. At least some formulas came to her head quite easier and some numbers finally decided to dance in a rhythm she understood. Nevertheless, she still hated maths. "Hey," Daniel said, appearing out of nowhere, walking beside her. "Oh Hi," she could have sworn she saw his arms almost go to her

They stepped into Ivy's house, accompanied by the deafening music. Elena clutched on to her purse, glad she needn't worry about her tripping, thanks to her flats. June was excited, way too excited, as she found her way into the crowd, her eyes scanning every corner."Heyy," Ivy screamed through the loud music blaring from the speakers, walking towards Elena and June. She looked gorgeous. She wore an aqua green gown reaching her mid thighs. She was beautiful, even June had to admit. "Did you just get here?""Yup.""Oh okay," she replied. "My brother is, should be around.""Your brother?""Yeah," Ivy smiled. "I didn't forget to tell you, did I? It's my brother's birthday party."True.Ivy's brother. Harry Shane. He was in his final year and quite popular too. With his good looks, brains, and good sense of humor- at least so they said.

In no time, Elena and Daniel got to school. Jordan had gotten there already before Daniel and was hovering all over Melanie. June was obviously surprised that Elena was going on the trip and failed to hide her what seemed like disappointment from Elena. They got in and sat in the plane in pairs. June with Ivy, Elena with Daniel and Jordan, of course, with Melanie. Elena noticed the look Melanie gave her on seeing Daniel grab her hand, pulling her to sit with him. Elena ran faster than her legs could carry her. She had been running since Kevin broke the good news to her- she ran to his car and now to June's room. She pressed the number in the elevator continuously making the other occupants stare at her weirdly. She couldn't care less as she impatiently waited for the elevator to arrive on the fourth floor. She pulled the door open, revealing June standing, gazing out of the window. "June!" She ran towards her, immediately pulling her into a hug. She hugged her tightly like she was scared she'd disappear. "I was so scared. I missed you so much. Why did you have to take the bullet? God, I was so worried." They held each other for a while before pulling away. "It's okay. I'm the one who's to be sorry." "You've said that so many times already," Elena said. "How are you?" "I'm fine," June groaned. "Then a dude attacked me and then...yeah."Eyebrows were knitted, faces were scrunched."But why?" his mum asked. "Did you by any chance know that man? I mean, why were you kidnapped? Who has something against you?""Um...it's..." Luke stuttered, looking at Elena. "No, I have no idea who or why he did it.""Oh?" she arched an eyebrow. "Are you sure?""Yeah," Luke replied. Elena winced. "Ow, my head," she groaned in pain as she looked around. Where was she? She looked around again. It was wide room with small windows covered by dirty curtains, making it suffocating. The paint on the wall was faded, different stains and marks plastered to it. There was a wooden table and chair at the corner of the room, several empty crates, bottles and cigarettes box laying carelessly around. It looked like an old abandoned room.
