Kathryn's mood was about to improve, but her expression suddenly stiffened.

"What a despicable person," she thought, "Couldn't he just let me be in a good mood for longer?"

She didn't even have the mood to eat after he mentioned the medical check-up.

Chris asked, "What is it?"

"Nothing." Kathryn's mood immediately soured.

She was having rapid mood swings. Chris knew the reason. He smiled. "The check-up is good for your body."

"I know. It's for our own good."
