Chapter 4

Adam looked at his own image in the mirror; tomorrow a new girl will become a part of my life, but cannot be a part of me. You will definitely become the queen of Richardson’s but not my wife. He thought ruefully.

Georgina looked at her hands and couldn’t help but think about her life, I will never again think about my past, but will concentrate on my future now. Tears filled her eyes as she recalls her encounters with Adam & then smiled in tears.

Remembering her Prince, sends jitters down her whole, till yesterday my life had only disappointments but today your name has erased all my sadness.

                                              

Your name filled my life with colours.

The royal guards brought the body of suppose to be culprit in the court room of Prince Adam.

“He is dead, Prince!” they informed.

Adam raised his brows getting up from his royal chair, as he heard further from them, “He had been murdered.”

“No, I don’t think so, Prince." Roy his right hand man got a chit of paper form his pocket, Adam nodded him to read the letter.

It says, “I had attempted to kill Prince Adam. Now I am giving my life, because I can no longer take the burden of what I have done.”

Adam was not convinced...he was surely killed by the main culprit who is playing this hide and seeks game with him. His blood boiled only thinking o those lines. He somewhere has his own doubts about the culprit.

He was sure, someone is mastermind behind all this who very well know about his activities that's why he must have got to know about his investigation. Therefore he killed the guy before he could open his mouth to reveal his secrets. 

However, at that moment he asked the guards to leave taking the body away with them.

He called his private detectives, more efficient ones, giving some orders he shut the phone down before throwing that away in rage.

Everything is mess...his life has became complete mess after stepping in Jodhpur.

Georgina got ready for her royal wedding. She looked enthralling adorn in royal attire.

Prince Adam on the other hand bathed in milk as a royal custom and got ready.

Few royal rituals were done before the actual wedding celebration begun. He was lost in his thoughts; rage and betrayal that totally ignored his blushing happy face of his bride. He just mechanically did the rituals...he was numb with the rage going in his veins seeing her blushing and smiling happily, pretending as if everything is fine.

With lot of hatred and rage hovering in his mind, he did take the vows of marriage, repeating priest words.

The priest announced, “You will now be tied to each other forever. You may kiss the bride now.”

Georgina so naturally held his hand which he tried to takeout but she was firmed in her hold. She gave him confused looks; he just grabbed her hand seeing the people around.

She smiled happily thinking, it must be miff of her imagination.  Everything is just fine with Prince Adam. 

He moved forward and just peck her lips, making her smile in delight...she shuddered with his touch but he was numb with hatred and anger burning in his veins.

Priest declares their marriage is complete and both are husband-wife now.

“Remember your promise, my daughter shouldn't know about this deal.” Mr. Carroll said to Julio Richardson after marriage was finally completed.

“She won’t know!' Julio assured him with curt nod as she saw bride and groom approaching her now for blessings.

It's time for Georgina's leave. Mr. Carrol turned to Grandma requesting her, “Forgive Georgina if she makes any mistake and take care of her. I am handling my little daughter to you today.”  

Georgina meets with her parents with teary eyes. Mrs Carrol hugged her dearly. As per the royal custom of Richardson Family, the bride aka queen of Richardson’s have to live with the royal family following the rules of the royals.

Adam stood annoyed as he feels all this is drama.

Grandma commented after a while just to lighten the atmosphere, at least your Daughter in Law is crying, mine didn’t...rather she kept smiling & waved her hand to indicate farewell.” She taunted Julio.

Because your Daughter in law knew no one will wipe her tears if she cries.” Julio too gave her back with teasing smile.

“I am eager to wipe your tears, but you need to cry first.”

It’s not easy to make me cry. Julio smirked.

We'll see!” said Grandma in attitude as she watched her taking Georgina in her hug before wiping her tears... as Carroll Family left the palace leaving behind crying Georgina in her mother in law’s arms.

Julio then announces new queen Georgina Adam Richardson’s welcome into the Richardson palace.

This welcome will bring such pain to you queen that you could have never imagined. Stacey murmured to herself and then turned to her husband giving him some secret advice.

She then covers entire path with rose petals & thorns hidden below petals.

“Why are you taking trouble for that simple girl.” Asked Dan from his wife, unknown of her evil plans.

“New Queen needs to know that Palace isn’t some garden where she can happily roam around but a path of thorns.” She smirked evilly explaining to her husband.

Adam and Georgina stood at the entrance as Grandma welcomed the couple. Now take your bride in our arms and walk inside, son!” summoned Grandma surprising the couple. This is the royal ritual...' she added seeing her grandson’s stern look.

Stacey was taken aback, “what’s this? I haven’t heard about this custom before,” she stammered for her plan was going to fail with this Grandma’s demand.

“You forgot dear, Dan has denied carrying you in his arms...” she made her remind her own ritual, how her husband was completely exhausted and clearly denied taking her in his arms. She was red and surrounding was filled with giggle.

Georgina too couldn’t stop giggling silently making Stacey to grit her teeth in anger, she gave accusing look to Grandma then glared at Georgina.

Adam was frustrated beyond now hearing the bickering again; he just scooped his bride in one motion making her gasp in surprise. 

She assumed, he might be exhausted after whole lot of royal rituals, still he followed his Grandma’s words ...that’s what makes him Richardson’s Prince...she thought.

Georgina sighed in pleasure enhancing his sweet scent as she looked at his face closely. He looked heavenly gorgeous...all for her...she blushed with the thought.
