❤️ Tafi's Promise ❤️

"So, you really think you can take us all down?" a voice echoed from the depths of the dark cave.

Nyxoria crossed her arms, waiting as a woman stepped out, stopping at the mouth of the cave.

"Obviously," Nyxoria replied with a smirk. "Even with my eyes closed and my hands tied behind my back, I could still take all of you down."

She looked at the woman from her head down to her legs, noting every eerie detail. Her veins pulsed beneath her pale skin, glowing dark red like rivers of blood flowing just beneath the surface. Runes, carved deep into her flesh, oozed faint traces of fresh blood, and her eyes glowed a menacing crimson.

"This is my territory," the woman snarled through gritted teeth, her expression twisted with anger. When she ran her tongue along her upper teeth, Nyxoria's eyes flickered in mild surprise at her rows of sharp dirty teeth and her tongue were like those of a serpent own.

Her outfit was even more disturbing—crafted from bones, each one sharpe

She was in her chamber when a messenger came to pass her the message of her presence being needed in the palace. Vyr sat upon a throne of pure gold, the sunlight streaming through the open window catching the jewels of his crown and bathing him in a commanding glow. Draped in crimson and sable robes, he radiated quiet authority, a living emblem of power and majesty. Around him, the council of elders, about four, gathered at a massive oaken table, their robes marked by symbols of their clans and wisdom etched into their faces. They all turn to look at her with a big frown and angry looks on their faces, especially the one with a missing arm. Nyxoria didn't care, her focus was on her uncle who beamed at her when she finally stopped beside him. "Yes, indeed I did," Vyr said.
